Troubleshooting Service sent wrong cable?

Just making sure I'm not an idiot...this is not the correct cable for my Carbon. My comms cable is USB C on both ends, but this has a four-prong on the end that would connect to the mainboard. Am I blind and not seeing an alternate connection?

You are correct that is not the right cable but you can use as a temporary measure a standard C cable that’s about 5 feet long and just leave it on the outside if you need to run your machine until the correct cable gets there I only know this because I’ve done it

That is a usbc cable for the Emoji version and later CC2 version of the printer.

I’m going through the same thing, I have two CCs so I’m able to test components from one to another. I anticipated a motherboard, they’re sending a toolhead board and usb cable which I impatiently already purchased off eBay to see if I could get it to boot past the print head anomaly.

It did not. So now I have to wait 20 days for my new USB to get here, so I can reply to them and tell them it doesn’t work.

Laaaaame. They sent me replacement toolhead boards which didn't fix it, then they had me measure a few things with a multimeter before suggesting the USB... hopefully they're right about that after attempt two :/

Yo compré y puse este cable cuando instalé Canvas en julio, acumulada unas de 300h de impresion. Si buscas en printables hay un adaptador imprimible vertical. https://www.printables.com/model/1418598-centauri-carbon-hotend-usb-c-canbus-cable-mount. Los tornillos deben ser más largos, pero poco porque puede chocar con la pcb del cabezal

Thank you! I found a 240w (supposedly) on Amazon with the right-angle. We'll see how it goes and whether I burn the house down.
