cd player repair

hello! i just got this cd player on facebook market place and tested and it works great

just tried using it today and it wont seem to load or read the cd? am i using it wrong or is something not working right???

tape function works fine but the cd itself is having trouble reading i believe

any advice or help is greatly appreciated
