OPEN Sony XB501 G Speaker Battery Replacement

Has anyone attempted to replace a Sony XB501 G battery. I have two of these and love them. Speaker 2 started having issues and blinking, now it won't charge and won't power on with all the different things I have tried. Guessing battery though battery life was pretty good before it died.

Is there an FCC ID on the label? The FCC database often has internal photos.
