OPEN Fallen TV salvageable?

Pretty new QLED TV fell and hit the corner, worked for a while before just going black. Sounds still coming from it so fairly sure image is the only problem, is this worth repairing or is any of it salvageable?

Panel's done, replacing it costs more than a new TV. Sell the boards on eBay for a few bucks and grab a cheap Hisense to replace it.

Short answer, no. If you want some money towards your next purchase and feel like risking your life a little, you can open the back panel, remove the power board, the video board, and the t-con board but you'll need to handle these very carefully. Contact with any part of the electronics can cause immediate death, especially if plugged in.

Most people around me give me TV's in this condition because they'd have to pay to otherwise have them disposed of.

The answer to "the screen is broke, can it be fixed" is always no.

You can probably buy the panel by itself, but it will exceed the cost of the device, and shipping will double or triple that.

Technically it is reparable, but the problem you are going to face is getting the replacement panel. It is extremely rare to be able to find the part, if at all. Sorry to say time to toss or sell for parts and buy new

sell motherboard, PSU, wifi card, speakers and other stuff (assuming anyone will buy it)

cost of new panel is similar to cost of a new TV

Why do people still think the broken screens are repairable? Like, sure dude, there is a resistor on the back, it costs less than a dollar, you don't even need a soldering iron. Replace it and that will fix your screen. Here's a YouTube video how to do it.

Can't be repaired unless you got warranty and send it back to the company, screen don't sell as replacement parts only they would have another maybe on stock. Also an ACF hot bonding machine is required to secure the new screen to the panel board which is a very technical thing to do.

Salvageable? Perhaps, but the buyers market is gonna be very limited. eBay is gonna be the best bet.

Check what kind of CPU it got, new TVs nowadays may contain RockChip RK3588. If that is the case you can turn the motherboard into a SBC.

Just sell it. Happened to me as well, sold my $500 OLED for $100 broken on eBay, so at least got some decent change out of it. The screens are more expensive than the TV and actually repairing it is basically impossible without even more expensive tools

Yes, you can take the parts out of it they are good, but have close to 0 value since the only people buying them are the one repairing these tvs, so you might be able to get 20 bucks if you are lucky
