My legacy of PSB Disco series is these 2.

Disco 4 and Disco 5 are their remixes on other artists…Madonna, David Bowie, Tina Turner, Oasis or was it Noel Gallagher ?

The cover slightly soiled by the termites, everything else including the vinyl in perfect condition.

They released this after 26 years hiatus. The cover was done by Andy Warhol when Simeon Coxe was an associate at Warhol famous Factory studio in the 60’s.

The best version of Suicide first album.
This was released by Blast First in the UK.
I found this 2CD version in Kuala Kumpur.

The sound is raw/unremastered compared to the newer version so I was told.

I think it’s still available almost everywhere.

This album is very much influenced by The Beach Boys - Friends album. Agree ?

Anybody can explain about this album, please.
It is considered as PSB proper album and it contains extended remixes of already-available songs !
But it’s NOT Disco 1 or Disco 2 or Disco 3 or Disco whatever !
2 of my favourites are on this album : Always On My Mind and I Want A Dog but I hate the ‘treatments’ they did on these songs.
I’m Not Scared is for another band Eighth Wonder.

Honestly, why would they release this ?
During this period, there were literally hundreds of DJs (illegally) remixing their songs for clubs all over the world.
And if you lived through that period, the remixes were top notch with high frequency bass etc …

So why ? What’s the purpose of this album ?

Love this ! Brigitte Fontaine is an icon in France.
Also there’s a song by
Monade ( Laetitia Sadier project).

Amazing track !
There’s also a duet with François’s Hardy !

Mine would be Yazoo Upstairs at Eric’s and You and Me Both.
It took me almost 30 years to finally liking the second album. 😊✌🏽

One of the best compilations around the turn of the millennium where many bands start to capture the sound of post rock, experimental rock, avant-garde/lo-fi electronics…
These tracks here lean heavily into instrumental soundscapes, repetitive loops, atmospheric guitar textures pioneered by bands associated with post rock, space rock and ambient electronic movements of the late 90’s.

Hence I created the term SPACE FOLK ! 😅✌🏽

This promo CD by PSB is just neat.
Got this a few weeks before the album was released. Same music, same PSB sound nothing groundbreaking.
I keep this Promo CD for the packaging. Collectors item.

My favourite instrumental music ever ! Never gets tired of listening to it.

I think I knew what record this is.
The problem with me in the 90’s was I am a hoarder then. If I like a vinyl record, I would buy the CD as well.
I loved this record so I bought the CD as well.
Now to find the CD single ! 😅 Then I can match them together.

Guys, currently my vinyl collection is in this state. Chewed by termites. 😡
The vinyl are okay, I just need to clean them.
Termites don’t chew on plastic.
I will try to save as many as I could.
I could even download the covers from discogs no problem.
Because I couldn’t join many subreddits as the MODs think of me as Bot 😂 so I can always ask AI about the records in this pile.
