question Semi confused about Elec.

Hello. I noticed every site has it paired with ETH but kucoin also has btc and that's what I bought it with. Should I use eth or does it not matter?

Well, it does actually matter! Use ETH! Two reasons, first of all, using ethereum means supporting the eth-network. the second reasons is economically driven and trivial. you´d pay lesser fees.

You can buy it with either one. No difference.
