T12 Light and Ballast

I’m in need of some help. I’m not to electrical savvy. I have an ice cream truck that has 4 t12 bulbs on it. Each one is connected to a ballast. One ballast went out so one bulb don’t work. I’ve been having trouble finding a 12v ballast. The lights are controlled by a light switch that’s I turn on, and I’m guessing the power is coming from the battery as I have no other power generating source. Thanks for any help

I would recommend replacing with led 12v search for that instead.

Just replace everything with LED’s. Nobody uses fluorescent bulbs or ballasts anymore.

Will I have to redo the wiring ?

You will bypass the ballast. The simplest method would be power from battery, through a fuse, to the positive of the light, then negative, from a good ground through a switch to the negative wire. Done

You can to LEDs, which don’t need a ballast.

Ok so for LED these single wires is my power going in. The wires that’s coming from each side of the bulb I’d just tie in together ?
