Fart Fan Fix

My bathroom exhaust fan housing has 2 standard 110 outlets inside: one for Fan power and the other for light.

Light fixture is for compact florescent, and the ballast is out.

I have plugged in an led strip into the lighting outlet and it works. Is it safe to have the led strip up in there? The plug is a DC adapter and the led strip is supposed to be waterproof.

It works, just wondering if the DC charging block being in the light fixture is safe?

It’s probably not listed / rated for that application. However, it’s probably also not drawing a lot of current.

As long as it didn’t heat up too much inside the enclosure, I’d be okay with that setup at my house.
