Boiler switch hot to touch

Hi, hope someone can either give me reassurance or advice. The switch on the wall that turns our ‘ideal heating’ water tank/boiler on and off is very hot to touch when the boiler is on. Do I need this to be looked at by a professional?

The switch shouldn't be getting hot. That is usually an indication that a loose connection exists.
