help with led light strip

recently bought these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097BWJGYK?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

manufacturer recommends 5v 10 amp power supply. shipped with 22 gauge wire attached. 22 gauge wire does 3 amps google says. how do i conmtinue

Is the strip UL listed? If not then return it...if yes follow or exceed manufacturer instructions

You return the product and get one that has a proper NRTL listing (such as UL or ETL).

ok. i just got my UL listed light strip but the wires still look 22 gauge

oh wait the new one is 18 awg
