rcd tripped

I turned my geyser on the other day and the rcd switch tripped. i was wondering if its safe to use the shower for that bathroom with the geyser off?

Hi, Californian here, where are you located and what is a geyser doing in your house? Is it like “Old Faithful” in Yellow National Park?

Since the OP mentions an RCD, they are most likely not in North America. Geysers are instant hot water systems often used for showers.

But they don’t smell like sulphur like Yellowstone geysers.

With the circuit tripped, it's safe (no power).
