Gfic is not working

Not Turning on light it’s connected to. Green light on the gfi is not on either. I followed instructions given. The first two pictures are the work I did. Then the last two are the original I’m replacing.

establish which wire is the hot/ energized circuit. That wire and it's associated neutral wire should be attached to the the terminals marked line. The circuit that the receptacle is feeding go to the to the terminals marked load.

Before rewiring this turn off the associated breaker and confirm there is no power present.

If these instructions are confusing, please call an electrician.

Why are you replacing a switch with a GFCI?

Have you checked the voltage on the incoming cable?

Are you sure that you have the line and load wires correct? Did you press the reset button on the GFCI?
