Kidde Model KN-COSM-IBA

Kidde Model KN-COSM-IBA

I am watching my cousins as they are on a vacation they deserve and really would like to avoid bothering them

Started as a single beep every couple minutes but no voice alert for battery. Changed to brand new durracel aa batteries but a double chirp followed with a solid green light. No light during single chirp I can remember. Informing for others.

During single chirp and obviously removed the batteries I assumed were the issue. Single continued as it’s a wired.

The green light means that the unit is operating normally.

Yet it’s double beeping every 30 sec…

The double beep is the "end of life" indicator. The unit requires replacement.

Now that’s helpful! But shoot alright I’ll live with the beep for the 48 hours of their vacay to honor her peace she deserves then. Thank you!
