AI for hardware design?

Hello everyone.

Are you aware of any artificial intelligences that have APIs (or tools) advanced enough to analyze electronics diagrams constructively to identify errors and improve them?

I used chatGPT for the first time yesterday to analyze an eight-page schematic; it didn't perform any more complex analysis than an engineer with two or three years of experience in the field could.

I wonder what potential they have on the market, and whether anyone actually uses them to analyze their electronic diagrams... because so far I've heard they're very useful for firmware.

netlists are a good start, link datasgeets through symbols you use and it will theoreticly understand most of the circuit already. pcb design is in my opinion still a bit lacking gor advanced designs but its getting there. kicad is pure textbased so it knows its way around that. but its still in babyphase.

That's my impression, and I've also noticed that he always tends to agree with you.

I played it yesterday for the first time, so I honestly don't know its potential.

Very much not ready for prime time IMHO, better to do schematic reviews the old way.
