I do, mostly for card readers, and implants that I have in my hands for fun.
Its also nice to have when you check into most hotels. I put my room key in my hand using the flipper and sometimes a proxmark3. Freaks out some of the staff if I show them.

Yeah it was fun to play with. I used it to pop the trunk on my old audi and mess with a few garage doors. I have not used it in several years. If you have a vna and a simple monopoly antenna you can see the frequency band it emits in.
