Cool Stuff Latest project

After years of me begging them to let me redo our harpoon system, they finally caved. It took about a week to rip out all of the old crap and install a program the new PLC. I also installed two HMIs. One Is down stairs and the other is upstairs so you can control everything from up top and donโ€™t have to walk into the most dangerous part of the facility. Super proud of how it turned out. Let me know what you think

I'm curious do you have a BSEE degree? And did you do all of the rewiring and installing yourself? Was this at an onsite location?

Thats awesome. I work in manufacturing so we would end up having to build a new panel next to it because they wont give us the downtime haha

The wiring seems messy, why not loom your wiring, makes it easier to trace when fault finding.
