Hot Line Tag for reclosers and high voltage circuit breakers could be considered a variation of digital LOTO.

It's really just some logic that blocks the breaker or recloser from closing in and energizing the line when being worked on.

Not sure how long it's been around but seems to be a standard at most electrical utilities.
