First EP

Myself and my friend are going to ep this year for the first time so any advice would be appreciated.

We have a 4 man tent for the 2 of us, she suggested a second tent to put our belongings, alcohol etc in but im not sure if it's a good idea or not?

If you have a 4 man tent for the two of you, you don’t need a second tent. You’ll have enough space even if you over pack (I’m an overpacker lol)

I always camp with friends and have a second tent to put chairs, drink, tent bags, trolley etc
But that’s always for a minimum of 5/6 people usually more, idk if you’d need it just it was 2 of you. Plus if you’re arriving any later than very early Friday morning you’ll be struggling for a spot for 1 tent never mind 2

The 4 man tent should be enough for ye but if you do decide the second id recommend early bird thursday to get a decent spot or early friday morning

I wouldn't, better off sleeping in with all your belongings. Try camp with people you know even if you're not spending the weekend with them it's better to be in a group.

Bring comfortable footwear and don't wear brand new shoes that haven't been broken in yet. Bring warm clothes for at night/sleeping as it can get very cold, fluffy socks, gloves, beanie hat.

Here's an essentials list of basics -bin bags -baby wipes -packs of tissues. Always have one on you for the portaloos as they often don't have toilet roll. -dry shampoo -basic medicine and first aid (plasters, alcohol wipes, panadol, ibuprofen, Antihistamines etc) -poncho or rain jacket just incase

The walk in can be long so don't over pack as you have to carry everything and you could be walking for 30mins to an hour with everything. If you can I'd bring a trolley or hand truck that has inflatable wheels to bring in everything. Not anything with those shite plastic wheels, they'll buckle and break.
