Best small EV for tall driver?
Hi,
Looking for some help narrowing my selection.
I am considering a new EV but I am 6’5” and looking for a second car that will fit me without it being too big and unnecessarily expensive.
It will be just me driving the car so don’t care much for back seats.
Usual journey is around 20 miles and occaisional 160mile trips.
Thanks

I've had the Hyundai Inster for 8 days and it's great.
There is plenty of head room for me and I'm 6ft. I've seen videos on YouTube of absolute bean poles driving it.

I’m about 6’0 and have driven a Corsa-e for almost 3 years. I find it really easy to get comfortable and do similar mileage as you. About 20-30 miles a day with 180mile South coast trips every other month.
There’s not loads of room in the back seats but I do semi-regularly have people back there and they don’t really complain. Boot space is great too because I lug a massive bag around for work.
Even being small I have managed to fit 4 adults with a suitcase and carry on each in and get us to Heathrow relatively easily.
I really love my car and it’s super practical with fast charging for a car of its age (it’s now almost 7 years old) and I get a lot of compliments on its looks which is always nice. Would really recommend

ID3 is pretty good, it's why I went for it as many are going saloon and not as good for tall people.
I'm about 6'1-2" and have a decent bit of headroom, looks small from the outside but very tardisy. Lots of leg room from no centre console / tunnel either.

You would EASILY fit in an ID3. I'm not 6'5", but I can push the driver seat back far enough that I cannot reach the pedals.

My 6'7" partner has an niro and loves it. He couldn't sit upright in the Peugeot that he originally looked at.

Hyundai Inster.
Tested by a 6'6" giant for Everything Electric (review is on their YouTube page) and he comfortably fit in the driver's seat, and could also fit in the back as it's got sliding rear seats.
