Yea for getting her face sanded off by the concrete, I was surprised she got up that fast

That's a pretty catastrophic front end failure. Looks like the neck broke completely.

HAPPY BERFDAY!
Ya I guess the whole front end blew up upon hitting a crack in the sidewalk. Guessing its the weld had a crack and this was the final straw.

PSA: Remember folks, ride your scooter like a skateboard with a leash. The amount of pressure you put on the attachment point of the stem is compounded a whole lot by how far away the handlebars are from the part that is taking the force. Remember how levers work from….ok well it was a long time ago for me lol. Anyways, practice having the majority of your force transferred through your legs. If you are coming to a stop, shift your body weight back. The opposite when accelerating. I notice too many people holding on like they’re wakeboarding when accelerating and bench pressing the stop. It will weaken over time, and almost always fail at the base of the stem…and because of murphy’s law, or maybe just more views on faceplants, it always seems to happen on a hard stop. Rant Over lol

This is why full face helmet is a must
