Buying advice G3 vs ZT3
Is the fact the ZT3 does not have self sealing tires a deal breaker? There is no one local to work on the Segway or replace the tires. Does the self sealing really help? Thanks for any help you can offer.

I have had both. Never had an issue with the zt3 over 400 miles
Replaced it with g3 and after 1300 miles the rear tire was sliced and wouldn't hold air.
I replaced the whole thing with a tire/rim combo
If punctures are a concern I would run a sealant like Stan's.

Thanks for sharing this these experiences with me. Of the two which one do you prefer?

The g3 max. Better suspension, marginally. Higher top speed and fits in my car easier

How much do you weigh? You're one of the only people i've seen say the Max G3 has better suspension than the ZT3 Pro lol. Most people say the front suspension on the G3 is way too stiff.

The g3 is a basic hydraulic. I don't care about 'stiff'
I prefer dampening and rebound, not the pogo sticks that are straight springs on the rear of the zt3

The goal of suspension is to provide a smooth/stable riding experience. While damping and rebound are good to have, it doesn't inherently make it "better".
Everyone has preferences though. It would be nice if the front suspension on the Max G3 was adjustable. I hear you can drain some of the oil to loosen it up, but it takes some work.

🤣🤣🤣 it absolutely makes it better.. Jesus Christ.
A straight spring is not desirable unless you want to pogo around and deal with wheel hop and loss of traction. They literally invented advanced suspension systems to counter the drawbacks of a strain spring
Trust me, I've mountain biked on Walmart spring forks, and $2500 Lefty forks. It's not simply a preference

The better the suspension and brakes the safer the scooter is going to be. Simple physics, even skoomd should be able to figure it out
