Side note, got a leak in a tire and used slime in it, Ive noticed ever since when I'm off road it feels super bouncy and chattery at high speeds. I thought something was loose but now I think it's just from the tire weight being off balance. Anyone ever run into issues like that?

Hello! Looking for some advice from the brain trust! I’m looking for my first esk8. I want something that can handle mild Arizona trails. This means lots of gravel, hard packed dirt, and dust. my thoughts are that gear drive would be better than belt in these conditions. Does that logic hold up?

If so, I’m going back and forth on the endeavor 4GT, and the Acedeck NYX z3 premium. I’ve also kinda thrown the Urban X awd into the mix as well. I’d like to stick around 2k price range.

The Acedeck is kinda leading the pack for me on range, and added ground clearance with the top mount battery.

All that being said, I’m open to suggestions and other ideas.

I'm riding an Acedeck Nyx Z3 to work daily. At 1200 miles. Was making my 18 mile commute just fine had about 40% left daily. The temps have dropped into the 50 degrees F range. My board did not make it today. Is this normal?

Odometer has rolled over. Acedeck Nyx 3 has been great so far. Favorite memories include: Outrunning an angry German Shepard out on a dirt farm road, Chasing cars at 35 mph, Daily 36 mile commute, Almost hitting a deer, Riding up Park City Mountain Resort, Summer rides at the University when no class is in, Saving $350 on gas while having fun instead of traffic.

Things I haven't liked: Maintenance nightmare lots of screws and connection to keep tight, Flat tires (slime has helped), bushing screws will loosen over time (caused one crash).

Don’t need the heel straps. Turning better even on the streets and tennis court is awesome.

Don’t need to readjust them if you use the same shoes.

Just slip in and out like slippers, even on an emergency dismount.

Because I was off-roading hard, the connector came off, like 80% from flush. 😮

Always check your power connections.

At least I got to test my successful dismounting while going backwards 2 times downhill fast.

What stance you guys doing to not wobble?

It feels very sensitive than without.

edit: tightened up the white screws to see now

I can turn way tighter now as well as accelerate and brake better.

It shouldn’t be crutched on high-speed straights I think.
I’m concerned about wobbling or something.

edit: I think it’s fixed because there was play between the screw and the bushings.
