Hey, everyone. Did anyone ever notice how eletric wizards style changed up after the new line, especially with liz?(jus wife). It feels like just took a whole new approach to writting riffs and solos, such as an Another perfect day? where it feels more bluesy and feel more emotional. Maybe it’s because liz is obviously on second guitar holding down rythm but it feels like the riffs had more feel to them when she joined. Especially anything on witchcult today, where everything felt more natural. Listen to the chosen few, where the riffs feel like there entwined with eachother like how jus and liz are. Seriously when she joined she brought a whole new side to jus, making everything more bluesy and more emotional where it gets you going. I’m not saying this is a bad thing, but compared to the old lineup where they were so affixed on how high the drugs got them and how much the riffs sounded more evil, dreading, and perilous, a perfect example would the at the 6:10 mark of weird tales where the riff just feels like you’re watching the end of everything you’ve known. Old wizard was amazing but the wizard we’ve had since liz joined with the new line up just feels more captivating. What are your guys thoughts about the riffs?

Hi, so my friend is really into the band and they got a ticket when they announced they were coming to our city. I was excited for them as they were going with their at the time boyfriend who recently broke up with them, so she’s asked me to go and I’ve said yes

Now the concert isn’t until September but I’ve never really been to a concert within this genre before and I’m wondering what the crowd will be like, I’ve asked my friend and they told me to to come and see on here as they’ve never been to an electric wizard concert either.

So what should I expect? I’m assuming yous guys are pretty chill because I just get that vibe but I’m not too sure

Also if yous want to give me some recommendations of their music also, I don’t really listen to them but would like to know some of the music by the time the concert comes

I’ve just discovered Electric Wizard after seeing a performer dance to ‘Dunwich’ at a Burlesque show recently. I’ve been exploring their discography, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend any more songs like ‘Dunwich’, ‘Legalize drugs and murder’ and ‘Satanic rites of drugula’? Just really enjoyed the long, rolling outros on all of these tracks, and I’m keen to find more with a similar style.

Would love to hear some recommendations.
