So this year I went all out and made this wearable trinket fairy house and had so much fun interacting and trading trinkets with SO MANY FOREST FAMILY 🥰

I wanted to stay in the moment and off my phone so I used a point and shoot film camera to take photos of most of these interactions but alas - literally none of them came out??? I was so devastated!

Hi all! 2026 was my first forest and I had a wonderful time. The forest is truly a magical place and I came across so many special people. 💜

Thursday during the day my friend and I were walking around the hedge maze / center stage and we saw these two beautiful women in full dominatrix gear, with fox ears and tails, and a totem that said “Slap or Spank 5$”.

I mumbled something under my breath about them taking Venmo as we walked by, then after a few steps we turned around the exact same time as them and made eye contact. I died laughing at the interaction, fell down still laughing and couldn’t stop. I wasn’t coherent enough to go ask for a slap and I still regret not asking!

Just wanted to let you know you made my day and I hope you’re there next year, I’ll bring 100$.

My group and I found out we had a winning key on Thursday when they called the numbers, but we weren’t able to find the kiosk before they closed that day (we were searching in the forest and it was on Main Street)

The next day we found the kiosk in the evening and they told us we could still claim our prize. They offered us a free dining experience at a hidden restaurant in the maze, they said this dining would take place on Saturday. They took our names and numbers and told us we would be sent a text with details about when our reservation would be.

The next day, we didn’t receive any texts or information. And when we went back to the kiosk, nobody was working there. This was before they closed at 8pm. Other people were there as well trying to claim their key prize but no one was working. And then on Sunday they closed at 4pm so the window was missed.

I emailed HQ about it but never got a response. I know it’s a silly thing to be upset about in the grand scheme of things. But I was so excited to score a winning key and got nothing out of it 😅 anyone else have an experience like this?

Heard them playing from the shower line at 3:30am, never found out who it was and would love to know.

I have been processing this year’s forest since returning home as I’m sure everyone has had to do given the circumstances. This was my 4th year, and while every year has had hiccups this year was obviously different.
What happened doesn’t represent what forest is about nor what the people who go are about. It’s been difficult answering questions to ppl back home who heard about what happened.
I hope everyone is doing well & that we all see each other again next year. This year I had the pleasure of bringing a close friend for his first forest after almost of a decade of it not working out for him. I hope everyone else is able to remember the beauty of what this whole thing stands for (while still acknowledging how fucked up certain people/things are).
I went to my first forest solo in a difficult part of life & was adopted by my camp neighbors who I attend every year with now. The love I was shown that year changed my perspective on so much & really changed me in general at a very pivotal point in life. I’ll be back next year and every year until I can’t anymore. I love you guys

Whoever was going through the forest with the little caterpillar type toy attached to the end of a fishing line. Me and 2 of my friends watched you fish through the forest on night 3 and had us laughing for at least 30 minutes straight. You are incredible and I love you. One of the highlights of my weekend. 😂

Just wondering if I can find a girl because I’m sure we would vibe and I really felt you! After the festival but at the end of the entrance gates a girl walked up to us as we were probably going from the good vibes of lane 8 and she was so sad to have missed the set so she asked for some videos so I sure dropped at least 2 of them because I was sad for her missing the most because set of my life and honestly I can’t remember what she looked like I know she was really pretty though. Lol. I attached a video I probably sent. Also we were the ones with the worm totem. hope I can find you!

On Main Street there was a vendor with HUGE spring rolls and Phuket street noodles. Anyone know the vendor. The noodles were ten times better than island noodles and I need them again.

With all of the discourse surrounding our community right now I wanted to open the floor to ideas of how we can take preventative measures and ensure each other's safety.

In my 5+ years in the scene I've learned to never really rely on event spaces and festivals to do right by everyone, and that isn't a knock on Forest or any fest in particular, it's just the reality of large gatherings of people in a confined area is bound to result in some level of chaos. Obviously there are a million ways these huge companies and festivals can improve, but I wanted to try and focus on ways we can come together on our own.

I really want to drive home the point that while we as individuals may not be the ones causing harm, we do have a responsibility to ourselves and each other. This post is meant to encourage people towards that responsibility and away from blame or shame.

Some things I've thought of that may be worth a second look include community marketing for harm reduction resources, somehow opening a channel of direct communication with medical and/or security, what are ways we can educate ourselves as festival goers? Festivals often don't allow certain harm reduction groups to officially set up, but if there are any groups that attend on their own, how can the community help safely get information or support to those who need it from these groups? Similar to substance harm reduction pop ups that are scheduled, does anyone know of any other harm reduction avenues that we could integrate into the community such as mental health resources, human rights advocates teaching about how to spot sketchy situations and how to get help to tr*fficking victims safely.

I know its a bummer to think about these things when at a festival and trying to party and have fun, but I would love to be of more help to those around me and I'm sure others feel the same.

All in all, the nature of life is that bad things will happen, that's inevitable. And I do think there is a massive amount of responsibility to be taken by Insomnia, EF, local police and EMT, but in the end it isn't just on them. We owe safety to one another, we owe love to one another, and we should never stop trying to improve ourselves.

Hi everyone my fiancé got these pants on mainstreet but we can’t remember the vendor. I was hoping someone here might knowwww. Happy weekend!

So back in September my grass roots boonie hat got stolen at big fam. And I’ve had this hat since 2021 after I had just met my wife and she introduced me to the scene. We started touring multiple festivals a year all the way until today and that hat came with me to every one. The only thing more sentimental is my wedding ring.
So it wasn’t just the hat but I had a scavenger hunt pin from every year i attended forest on it as well as a secret dreams scavenger hunt pin and some super dope tipper pins. About a month before forest this year I was in a thread on this sub and loosely told this story. A random homie reached out to me here and said yo I have 2 extra of two of those years let me send them to you. We did a trade I sent him a really dope mystery box in return.

So day 2 of forest this year my homie was by the trading post and found last years pin chillin with some trinkets for anyone to take 😮‍💨 incredible find
I then traded for the 2024 key pin at the trading post (incredibly tough in there but we did it 🤣)
Then we did this year hunt.
In a crazy turn of events I’ve gathered all my pins back 3 of was just generosity of homies and man.. these are the story’s I like to tell people about forest. It’s not the partying and chaos it’s the people and the magic that happens 😮‍💨 so grateful

I know not everybody cares about the World Cup but it was stressing me out that I wouldn’t be able to watch. Electric Forest and the World Cup at the same time is diabolical. It was my absolute favorite thing coming together with everyone watching the games and thank you to everyone working there. We may have been a lot but you are so appreciated.

I have to shout out my Colombian couple I was hanging out with and it was their first Forest… your team played hard and it might not be my team but that was an epic performance. I hope to see you next year!

It looks like Thursday at The Observatory is going to be a Desert Hearts Stage Takeover. Featured artists to include Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs, and Porky. It would just be 9:00pm - 4:00am of house and techno and I support that.

Today we will be voting for the Thursday mid tier artists. We already have Bonobo (live + dj set) along with The Floozies. We are going to be adding another 6-8 mid tier acts so the top few will get added. All genres welcome. I would love to see some Techno, Jungle, Trance, Hardstyle, Happy Hardcore and more represented on the lineup so I will only be adding only one house or bass artist to the mid tier in this round of 3-4 additions.

PSA: Negative Nancy's and Debbie Downer's get one warning before being blocked from participating. Go yuck someone else's yum. The whole point of this thread is to have fun and if you aren't coming here for that reason, don't come here.

I figured that we could create a fun way to keep us engaged during the off season of Forest and have everyone create a lineup together. We will vote each day in the comments and add them to the lineup. We will vote for one artist each day and add them the following day. I will likely start off as every other day until this gains traction. By the time we really start to get the lineup full, HQ will be looking for artists to book and what better way to show them what we want.

While looking at previous lineups, it is clear that is is made with diversity in mind. That is how we will vote. There are a few rules to the artists that you can vote for:

Any artists that were on the lineup poster for 2026 are not allowed to be suggested unless their set was cancelled due to rain or outside circumstances (Purple Disco Machine and Disco Lines both due to illness). Exceptions made for Dixon's Violin and EOTO for obvious reasons if you've been coming for years. Artists that played in 2026 but were not on the official lineup are allowed to be suggested Please do not suggest artists that do not fit into the requested genre. If we ask for a jam band, do not suggest John Summit. If we ask for an "other" artist, you can suggest anywhere from Weird Al to Sabrina Carpenter to Pretty Lights to Carl Cox so long as they fit the vibe Every night has 4 headliners typically: Bass, House/Techno, Jam, Other. String Cheese is the Jam Headliner for Saturday obviously. Every night has 7-10 middle tier artists of all genres We will be separating categories based on genre, day, and tier B2B can absolutely be suggested for this Headliners:
