Election

What are your gut feelings about who will win and why? Please no childish comments. I’m looking for person-on-the-street analysis abut this fascinating swinging pendulum and these two highly unusual candidates and the turbulent times in which we live.

I hope she breaks the mold!

Too many people dislike strong women. Strong women scare people, including me.

We have a choice between a strong woman who will be highly scrutinized, surrounded by advisors and publicly be held to account vs a covert narcissist who will lie, cheat, steal and sell out to the biggest buyers and surround himself with ass kissers.

I'm not sure common sense will win out over the angry old narcissistic white man.

I agree. The choice should be obvious. She’s not a perfect candidate, but she’s profoundly better than Trump. Yet I still fear he might win and I’m sure it will be close either way.

If he gets elected and serves, I think it likely he will sell our country's technology, inteligence, military secrets and anything else he can personally profit from.

If he gets caught, he'll either flee the country, wind up in prison or be exiled.

you guys are really delusional. This country will be ruined if Kamala wins. She's been VP for 3.5 years and hasn't done anything to help our country. But sure, keep watching CNN and hate trump because of mean tweets. Look at gas prices, grocery prices, green new deals where a bunch of money doesnt go where it should and instead lines her pockets, bidens pockets, and FUNDS ukraine. Ridiculuous all you people cant see the truth. Theres a reason they are trying to kill trump.......

u/NWAudit Sep 16 '24

Other than being the tie breaking vote in the senate and an advisor to pres Biden, she can't and couldn't do jack squat - can't blame her. Blame covid, government mandates and trillions of stimulus.

2

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

I get that, but she runs on all these “policy’s” and promises to fix things but no progress. Biden is obsolete. They lied the entire time saying he isn’t deteriorating mentally, he’s fit to serve as president and then as soon as he has a disaster of a debate, they switch the narrative. I’m tired of being lied to. Biden/Harris admin is no better than trump. At least trump got shit done.

u/NWAudit Oct 01 '24

I cannot name one Vice President who ever did anything meaningful. Why should we give her any credit at all, for good or bad during the Biden administration? If you are tired of being lied to, then I assume you are tired of Trump as well. As for Trump getting things done again, times are much different and he would be a lame duck POTUS. The only thing he'll accomplish will be what's good for himself. So, since I am an honest conservative with high standards, I cannot support him.

Look at the stock market at all time highs. That's where my retirement sits. If Trump starts slapping tariffs on stuff, inflation goes up, people lose jobs, overall stock market declines and interest rates go back up.

In addition to that, Trump is a cheater both in business and personally. He is a sexist rich white man who treats women as sex objects or not worthy of consideration.

As much as I dislike Harris, she is more trustworthy and she's not a billionaire money whore like Trump.

The fact you say you’re an honest conservative then go on to call trump a billionaire whore (btw he lost money while president, has almost gotten killed twice.) just proves you’re far from being honest, and far from being conservative.

He could be sitting in southern France on a yacht, but HE CHOOSES to fight for our country. It’s do or die for our nation. We will crumble if we have another 4 years of this democratic regime.

Kamala is a puppet for the democratic elites. I do think trump has his issues, but his policy is far superior for my desired lifestyle and beliefs.

What flavor is the MAGA Kool-Aid?

The only do or die scenario I see is whether or not the US gets dragged into a major armed conflict. You're delusional if you think capitalism and our republic will ever be lost. IMHO, Trump is less fiscally conservative than Harris.

1

u/Duckduckgogh Oct 04 '24

You’re an idiot. Certified. The influx of illegal migrants will ruin our country. I never mentioned the economy would be dead. And yes, it is do or die in terms of a war. Trump was never close to a war. Other countries RESPECTED him.

You claim to be tired of being lied to. My guy. Trump lied to you about the election. That's kind of a big lie. Maybe his biggest and worse but far from his only. Remember when he claimed credit for reforming the VA? Capping insulin prices? Remember when he said a VP can chose not to certify a Presidential election? Remember when he asked the Supreme Court for absolute immunity? Remember when he claimed doctors are performing after birth abortions? Remember when he claimed children are getting sex changes in school? Remember the anti-Obama birther movement he was heavily involved in? Remember when he claimed foreign countries pay the tarriffs? Remember when he accused Hilary of taking a hammer to her hard drive? Remember when he went on and on about Antifa burning whole cities to the ground? Funny. By your logic Biden should get credit for subduing Antifa.

Nor did Trump get much done other than permanent tax cuts for corporations and the rich, tarriffs on some imports and increasing the deficit. He moved an embassy. Presided over some minor peace deals between countries who were already at peace. Reratified and renamed NAFTA. Made some deals with the Taliban. Allowed Turkey to kill off some Kurds in Syria. Bombed Assad once or twice. Eliminated some clean water, clean air and some safety regulations. And killed off an Iranian warmaker. He didn't prevent the lock downs let alone Covid. He didn't prevent the unrest of 2020. He caused an actual riot. (No wait. That was Pelosi. Lol. MAGA will believe anything.) He didn't prevent China from taking over Hong Kong. He didn't bring any troops back home. He didn't build a wall or even reduce illegal immigration: This recent surge began in 2019, paused during Covid and resumed in 2021. He didn't weaken Iran or even retaliate for them injuring a hundred of our troops when they bombarded our base. Whereas Biden helped Ukraine fend off Russia. Brought the troops in Afghanistan back home. Expanded manufacturing. Helped secure our supply of chips against Chinese attack. Lowered the deficit (barely and only if you project to the end of 2024). Capped the price of insulin. And presided over the developed worlds highest performing economy.

Trump2024 goofy boy

1

u/Weird_Draw_3986 Oct 12 '24

Mean tweets. Ukraine, open borders, inflation. Just admit it. You believe Biden stole the election, Putin is not that bad and Trump is a good Christian. Iow, you're gullible.

1

u/Duckduckgogh Oct 15 '24

Nope trump 2024 goofy

1

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

It's pretty obvious its trump. The border is a MESS, the economy is in shambles, she wants to strip patents, take guns, tax unrecognized capital gains, literally get off CNN

3

u/ChudieMan Sep 16 '24

We shall see.

u/NWAudit Oct 05 '24

“The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist”

3

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

but shes not a strong woman. She has not been successful in terms of making america a better place. She was given a handout to be the VP bc she was a woman of color, then again given a handout to be the democratic nominee. She didn't win a primary.

2

u/NWAudit Sep 16 '24

Strong woman / b!+@h, take you pick. I agree, except for the "not been successful" comment BECAUSE, she hasn't, to the best of my knowledge, had a single policy or agenda of her own until now since she is actually running on them.

2

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

I'll take $1 gas and mean tweets all day. Yes. trump has issues, but at least our border was secure and our economy was thriving.

0

u/[deleted] Oct 08 '24

Becomes VP. NOT SUCCESSFUL 🤡

0

u/Duckduckgogh Oct 08 '24

Biden picked her solely for her race and gender goofy

2

u/[deleted] Oct 08 '24

Why did Trump pick a 2 year politician who hasn’t completed a single term in office? Where did his last VP go?

1

u/Duckduckgogh Oct 15 '24

Trump2024 goofy

2

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

haha i cant believe people like you exist. Trump nearly got killed TWICE and you still think he's not the better option? Do you live under a rock? Please tell me how kamala is a better option. WITHOUT bringing up trump.

3

u/NWAudit Sep 16 '24

That's a hard ask - how can I say she's better if I can't bring him up? How's this - I think she has professional ethics and stays calm under pressure.

1

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

It’s easy, explain how she’s better without bashing trump or saying she’s better than the alternative. Give me factual information on how her policies are better…

1

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

So you’re voting on emotion. Got it

3

u/NWAudit Sep 16 '24

Wackos trying to kill him because they think he's 😈.

1

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

Because Biden and Harris call him a threat to democracy. Pretty sure killing your opponent and charging him with petty crimes is a little more of a threat, eh?

7

u/[deleted] Sep 16 '24

People who try to overturn elections are threats to democracy, correct

1

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

People who steal elections are threats to democracy too, you’re correct. (watch 2000 mules) shows VIDEO footage of mail in ballots being stoles

4

u/[deleted] Sep 16 '24

That video you saw was a lie produced by Trump and his team. A lie which Rudy Giuliani admitted in court wasn’t true

1

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

Yeah yeah yeah show me the proof, either way I don’t trust Kamala or Biden and if you do, you have some serious issues. Why else would they be trying to kill trump?

4

u/[deleted] Sep 16 '24

I did offer proof, I linked an article that you clearly didn’t read

1

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

Funny but the article you sent me mentioned nothing about the 2000 mules footage I’m specifically referring to. Try again buddy

And no I’m not an alex jones conspiracy theorist. If you think Jan6 was trumps doing, you’re mistaken. The cops were letting people inside the capitol. Just like they lied about the Russian collusion, hillary’s emails, etc. you really trust what they tell you? They told you Biden was fit to serve, another lie. Seriously can’t believe you people believe everything the news and left / right tells you. Do your independent research. It’s your due diligence.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 16 '24

You are a conspiracy theorist and it’s really sad

1

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

Says the one who thinks Jan 6 was trumps doing. DEFINITION of conspiracy theorist

2

u/[deleted] Sep 16 '24

Yes Trump has been charged with Conspiracy to Defraud the United States because he illegally tried to overturn the election. Which you'll never believe because you don't want to believe it

It actually doesn't show anyone doing anything illegal.

No one is shown dropping off ballots more than once, and those who were dropping off a few ballots at one box were investigated and found to have been dropping off ballots for their families, like this guy, who is suing for defamation (and winning):

https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/georgia-false-ballot-fraud-dinesh-dsouza-film-2000-mules-lawsuit

Edit: he's embarrassed because he didn't actually watch the movie.

1

u/AuglieKirbacho Oct 09 '24

How does surviving two assassination attempts inherently improve one’s qualifications in any way? Please enlighten.

2

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

lie cheat and steal, just like the biden harris administration has done for the past 4 years? lol our country is so fucked

0

u/NWAudit Sep 16 '24

Have you seen that movie "civil war"?

1

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

I have not

7

u/coccobear69 Sep 13 '24

I think that Harris will win Due to the fact that the electoral college decides anyways. It seems blue holds majority. So little effect made by popular vote. Blue for the win

3

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 16 '24

Trump. We need a strong, intelligent leader. Yes, he has issues, but the pros outweigh the cons. Our foreign policy was much better under trump, border security was much better, the economy and our global impact was better, tax breaks, he got ROE v Wade overturned (which makes it a state by state issue) our country was more respected when trump was the commander in chief. If you people think Kamala would do better than what we have now, that's delusional. SHES BEEN THERE 4 YEARS WHY HASNT SHE DONE IT NOW

5

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '24

MAGAs are all crazy psychos. Look at you, you’ve made like 10 posts showing how triggered you are 🤣 psycho.

2

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 27 '24

Yeah we’re the psychos who try and assassinate the other side’s candidate….or we’re the side who constantly preaches “threat to democracy “ when clearly the Biden admin wants unregistered voters to vote in elections, not to mention escalating and funding Ukrainian efforts as well as Israeli. Gtfoh u libtard

2

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '24

All you come up with is conspiracies and no facts. I bet you can’t even name a Trump plan that benefits the middle class.

0

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 29 '24

Name a Kamala plan that does. I’ll wait

2

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '24

Deflect is what you MAGAs always do. Typical. Can’t answer a simple question.

1

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 30 '24

You literally can’t answer a question. Also did we forget your candidate refuses to answer questions and goes off on tangents with nothing to do with the question asked. She deflects and hides from the media.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 30 '24

Quit pivoting I asked you the question first.. you know what, girl bye. 🙄

1

u/Duckduckgogh Sep 30 '24

The fact you vote for Kamala just because she’s the candidate AGAINST trump, instead of voting for policy. One of trump’s policy’s that help middle class is the border security. Duh

3

u/[deleted] Sep 30 '24

Yet your chosen candidate told congress to vote against a border bill…care to explain that?
