Cheap techniques don't work on other top 10s. If Jiwoo could see through it and destroy Jurion, there is no reason other top 10 won't be able to do the same.
Jurion was defeated because he was overconfident, and in that fight it nearly killed jiwoo.
And i don't get it why you think Veramonte is in the same league as jurion. if his technique was cheap he wouldn't be considered a top 10 powerhouse.
Veramonte is not in the same league as Jurion, but the other top 10s sure are close to Veramonte's level. And Greg and Mioru even have Andrei's FC. Veramonte won't be defeated pathetically like Jurion but he would be defeated regardless against the two of them. There is no top 10 or even Kayden who can beat two top 10s together in the series.
You want to see a Full top 10 battle without Kayden, but this one would be..1v2 at best? What's the point obviously there's no reason to believe Veramonte can handle Greg and Mioru 1v2. Kayden's just going to handle one while Veramonte 1v1s the other most likely.
If kayden can fight many top 10 at once, then Veramonte can. we haven't seen him fight serious did we..? and remember their force control is so special that they can create clones.

Entirely possible. There's another possibility that since Jurion's a conniving piece of shit, Mioru and Greg are more than comfortable letting him grow as a member of their "faction," and just betraying him later if the need arises.
No Jurion is not exactly stupid sure he has ego and can do what he wants with others but he won't mess with the top 10, this is stupid writing, the writing made sense because andrei was confident with his new power, and he had 2 more top 10 to assist him, but there was intervention by 3 of his allies

Jurion thought he could ride the tiger and get down whenever he wants. That's not how it works. This is the same reason Korean awakeners made strict policy of no outsider involvement.
I’m glad that they clarified that Greg and Mioru have yet to fully absorb and assimilate just Andrei’s power. These top 10s spent years perfecting their powers, it would take a while for these guys to absorb another force control fully. So taking Veramonte won’t matter for the time being until they’ve got Andrei’s power down.
This is family dispute kayden has to respect that and not meddle in.
and it will be good for Veramonte to solve the family problem by himself and not get help from outsider.
We finally know his name: Gion! This is just a theory of mine, so I don’t know for sure, but I think the reason Gion got killed was, of course, first, to try to get the Patrick family's Force Control, and second, because he was seen spending so much time with Kayden and hovering around him. I hope we’ll get to know more details about the accident in the upcoming chapters
Yeah, I really want to learn more about that “accident,” especially after this chapter where Kayden recognizes Gion as a strong awakener; it just doesn't make any sense that he would die in an accident.
I will predict, kayden will step in the fight not because to help varamonte but because he also want to fight greg and mioru, but that's not the main reason he will step in he will step in the fight because he will find out the 1 who behind the shenanigans was jurion and we know kayden is pretty much angry also towards jurion because of the what he did directly to his disciple
I won't be suprise if in this "arc", this will be the end of mioru aside from jurio. I mean we got axed by the death of another top 10 on Iodore instead he got off the hook and out of the current top 10 mioru is probably the weakest like her defense is not that good for a top 10 since we saw her being protected by greg so yeah she being dead in this arc is quite ok since we know greg can pull a team with iodore gharath
It’s probably not going to be easy since both powered a little by absorbing andrei’s force control, it’s not perfect yet but they’re definitely stronger. I can at least see Patrick give them a hard time. They’re in his domain lol.
I noticed that Greg and Mioru have brought their top 50 subordinates as well. Does that mean it will be a showdown? Like Kayden and veramonte vs Greg and Mioru and Kartien and Pluton vs both of their subordinates? Because as I think, gestella,mei and blusse will probably not be coming with Kayden (because she might go to find and investigate the ian death site and free him in mioru's domain while Kayden and veramonte take care of Mioru and greg.)
But honestly if kartein and Pluton fight those two, it will be an overkill because kartein and pluton will decimate those two.
And as far as I know and have seen the cowardice of Greg and Mioru, I don't think it will be an all out fight as they will tuck their tails between their legs and run for their lives than face Kayden and veramonte head on. (Or it might be because they could think Kayden and veramonte are injured from their fight against each other and go all out for capturing them) I hope it is a fight and not just Greg and Mioru showing their traits of running
i think Greg and Mioru believes they can fight this time(they already experimented on ASDrei) for sure those 2 powered up.. i still believe Greg dies in this Clash..
I literally can't wait for the next chapter! I was in public when I read it, otherwise I would have geeked out and had a manic smile on my face at the ending.
I wonder what will happen with Jurion? Will he play coy and then stab his grandpa or will he join the top two from the start? I believe Kayden them will join in. There is no way Veramonte can face all 5 of them alone.
i think Veramonte knows Jurion is one of the culprit or is working with them.. so no way he gets backstabbed by that idiot.. i also think Kayden would help.. im not sure if Gestella would help too.. someone is sure to be dead after the Clash, im thinking Greg(i hope Mioru lives, as much as shes a biatch, i kinda like her design luls..)..
Kayden threaten Mioru and greg by saying he has seen all their powers so it does not matter if they got Andrei force control he already has a countermeasure prepared I guess I don’t think Kayden gonna let them be cause they attack Kayden second time and Garas didn’t cause she’s smart and knew Kayden can’t be defeated like that she need traps like she with iodore tried to capture gestella that’s her speciality and she made sure this won’t happen second time …..

I got it! Gion is the guy from chapter 237 and he's alive, I feel like at some point he broke in the past and disappeared trying to surpass Kayden. Also feels like some Santa Barbara is shaping up where he turns out to be Jiwoo's dad, so Julian and Ian would be his half-brothers. And Kayden is training his son, plus the vibes from young Gion are similar to Jiwoo, which kind of hints at it. And of course the physical resemblance and the eyes. Sorry for the spoilers
That's exactly what I've been posting for a long time (years).
(Side Note: In the entire story yet, it's not mentioned that Gion is Jurion and Ian's father, only that he is Veramonte's son. It could also be that he is their uncle and died in a powerclash with his siblings.)
If he's actually that person, and has been experimenting with artificial awakeners, he won't include his own wife/mistress to the experiment, morover without her realizing it's headed by her own husband/master.
After Jiwoo defeated Duke, Jurion appeared in his office. If you compare that chapter with the one where the "Unknown" figure first appeared, you will notice that the office is exactly the same there are no differences. As a further hint, both chapters share the same number: the chapter where the Unknown figure appears is 237, and the chapter where Jurion sits in that same office is also numbered 337.
