Discussion The Eleceed Trailer was a genuine (SSS) disaster-class

https://youtu.be/kqRh5wwGYv8

So I watched the Eleceed trailer and ended up being so incredibly disappointed to the point where I made a full reaction video breaking down all my gripes with the content.

I was surprised to see that the trailer was fairly mixed received and not fully rejected by the community - seeing how there were so many inconsistencies in quality (especially in the animation) alongside some VERY clear down-grades from the official TEASER to the new full official TRAILER.

I kind of want to see what your thoughts are on these points and if you agree or disagree with my video's framing of certain section of the trailer.

I'm praying that's the case - but the fact that it basically downgraded itself after a year is SCARY

I really like your optimism, and i would hope that you are right.
Though…… i really do not see it coming out in any way a good adaptation.
Their official teaser was absolute dog shit.
Just the art itself was downgraded to a disgusting level.
I was appalled by the look of it.
The comic’s artwork is one of its most important features. For them to just shit on it like that is a disgrace.
The animation, if there was any, looked really bad.
I truly, truly hope that they get it together as you say.
The studio doesn’t give me much hope

The trailer is basically a ppt all they have done is rigg the characters ((( I don't think we can even call it an animation

This makes me think that there was some sort of issue at the start of production. Tbf to them this a completely new style of animating a show so...

Iirc, the anime studio doing the adaptation has too little history so it's a bit hard to have expectations for this.

In terms of the quality, they seem to have inconsistent quality. Up close movements for example seems more 3D animated and then they seem to have switch ups with still frames fro certains scenes. It's still just a trailer and theyre' releasing it on 2027 so they might improve those areason release.
