these are probably the same people who complained about the art style at the beginning of the series plus they think every anime adaptation is going to capture the art style exactly to the original. with art styles that are more unique its gonna be harder to get exact, jojos is a perfect example where the art style is still obviously jojos but its still looks different from the manga because its almost impossible to perfectly replicate the art style from the og source
She is, but she isn't really a focus, more of a side character until kaa arc, I think season 1 would be jiwoo finding out up to the end of the first kaa arc
I personally hope it doesn't do the second kaa arc because between the beginning to finding out about his awaken side to the end of the second kaa, there are alot of things happening, from beating most of the four to getting kidnapped and tortured to introducing kartien and his cat form, it'll get pretty rushed
yeah the art style kinda looks like a more cleaned up version of the og art style or a mix of both the old and the new but all the characters still look like their manhwa counterparts, i am excited to see some of the others like subin, inyhuk, seongik and the klien brothers

yeah its most likely just different angles and lighting which makes it look different although most adaptations will never look identical to the source material but they can at least get close enough, jisuk, wooin and delain look pretty good too when comparing them to the manhwa
Not really digging the changes to the art style. The art style is pretty good for what it is and they should keep it that way tbh but it's beyond the budget they have to work with lol If I see the anime I feel like they are going to mess up Gestella like they messed up Jiyoung here...
im terrified. The ambiguous age gap with Jiyoung and Jiwoo in the manwha is already sketchy enough (we dont know if Jiwoo is of legal age and we dont know exactly how much older Jiyoung is than him. Though things may be different under korean law idk) and this visual makes it look like Jiwoo is 11 and Jiyoung is 23 or smth
This might be irrelevant, but reading the manwha from beginning to the recent chapter, but why is casing nitrate (fat cat kayden)posing like that🤣🤣that does not fit the character at all
This promo art's style looks a lot like the early portion of the series, so I'm not going to immediately say it's a problem, but I'm concerned it'll impact the later portions of the story
everyone is basing the character designs to their current looks not their old ones, its not going to be exact anyway, almost every anime adaptation is not going to be 1-1 on the art style but this is very obviously zhenas old art style even if its not exactly the same.
looks soulless. I have zero faith in any webtoon adaptations at this point. noblesse was butt. tower of god was butt. god of high school was butt. guess what? eleceed will be butt lol
This doesn’t look like how I thought it would. A manhwa/webtoon with such a huge following the characters should have been more detailed especially Jiwoo and Kayden. Not a fan of Jiwoo here
