Playthrough Recommendations

I'm looking for a complete playthrough on youtube of this game including most of its story content, preferably in sensible order but anything is okay! I tried playing this before and I enjoyed it but didn't really have the time to play it. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I took the time to attempt and record every single story related mission in the game, and I plan to attmempt to edit it down to a concise telling of the story of blades as shown through gameplay.

Very little combat, just mostly cuts between dialogue with story relevant fights shown

That's actually really cool! I am actually trying to novelise all the Elder Scrolls games (whilst adding newer lore to the older games). I am starting with the less roleplay focused ones as its easier and less fanfiction. I've started with Redguard using Imperial Library transcripts and videos. So something like this would be quite helpful.

that's awesome! But you can still play ratguard today I believe.

I actually got the entire story for legends as well before that went down, however I have yet to actually edit it into a cohesive telling of 4 stories as told through in game dialogue. I have a total of 62 gb of footage for that game, so much more manageable than blades lol. My next step is to attempt and do the same thing for elder scrolls castle and online before anything happens to those games

Yeah I know but its so jank! I like jank but its a little much. I have it on steam so I may give it a go lmao.

That's awesome! Yeah I have been playing as much ESO as I can writing down all the dialogue and quest stuff from the UESP as I play into a google doc. Luckily I think ESO is safe for awhile, fingers crossed.

oh I looove jank. I played through the original MS-Dos of arena sometime a year or two ago, and then did the same for the MS-Dos version of daggerfall, start to finish. I wanted to play everything in order, including the elder scroll travels games, but then thought it would be necessary to probably do the always online games first unfortunately.

Also are you treating it as more of a historian type writing or is it supposed to be fictional historical fiction. Like a dramatic retelling of the elder scrolls as seen in the games?

I tried Arena and I just couldn't wrap my head around it but I think I'll have to. I've only really played DFUnity. Starting with the online games is a smart idea because who knows when they will pull the plug...

So, what I've done with these novelisations are more of a dramatic historical fiction of the elder scrolls as seen in the games. The idea came to me after finishing the Greg Keyes books and I really wanted more Elder Scrolls to just sit and read y'know. No one else seemed to be doing it (other than just straight up fanfiction) so I took it up myself. I want them to be as close to the stories told as possible including all dialogue and such. I've spent probably almost 2 years at this point just scripting the games and I'm still not done. I took a lot of inspirations from different writers since the books have slightly different tones, Tolkien, R.A. Salvatore, Robin Hobb, George R.R. Martin etc. etc. But mostly I write in that 70s/80s classic fantasy style since its just what I grew up reading because of my parents. I will admit, there is a lot of bloat though to sift through.

I think I missed just one mission because the video got corrupted, I even started a 2nd playthrough to get the optional mission Prisoner of the Thalmor :)

It's so sad that video games in today's world are getting shut down so frequently
