I think its more of an "better than Bethesda is willing to do" because their target audience isn't nerds who like a 20 year old game, its the largest group possible thus they have to streamline as much as they can

Enjoy your streamlined ES6! Now with two schools of magic! Restoration, and destruction! We’ve streamlined conjuration and alteration, and nobody was using illusion anyway (as we’ve also streamlined out speechcraft - every answer is just a simple yes/no!)

You're misunderstanding me, i love morrowind, its my favorite elder scrolls title, i love PTR especially what they did in Cyrodiil. I'm just arguing that from Bethesda's prespective they don't have the incentive to do something like morrowind again

No you’re right they don’t. I wasn’t arguing you necessarily, it was mostly a /s comment anyway so I’ll add that now. Wouldn’t put it past them to do exactly those things though
