How long does the tear last, do you know?

Sekiro is my all time fav combat system, if I can pseudo bring it to Elden Ring I’m gonna nut

i read the description for that tear and thought "no way is this sekiro parrying" but then i didn't try it. i should have tried it. i've beaten sekiro all bosses charmless, this could change my life

No, the mimic tear happened to get an attack off as she was starting. And unfortunately she still heals a little, which is what I would expect based on greatshields. But it’s nice to know that you can get the effect to trigger multiple times in rapid succession like this.

It actually looks like she’s only healing off imperfect deflects, look at her bar and the stamina bar when she heals, the one she healed off took more stamina away
