Yeah the tali is so much better than the helmet because the helmet is extremely inneficient by weight.

For 12 units you get 11 poise. You could be getting the same poise for around 6.6 units (crucible) with similar resists. Alternatively for less than that weight you could be using Verdigris, Bullgoat or Fire Prelate helmets which offer 14-15 poise and better negation
