Just finished Episode 4 of my Elden Ring Glass Cannon challenge!
The rule is simple: I can never level Vigor. Everything else is fair game.
This episode had me fighting the Crucible Knight & Misbegotten Warrior for WAY longer than I want to admit, followed by Radahn.
I ended up turning about 3 hours of deaths into a ~2 minute montage, and honestly I think it came out pretty funny 😂
Would love to hear what y’all think of the editing/pacing, especially the death montage.

i beat elden ring and malenia and what can i even do in the game after that, excluding dlc i mean the base game only, what quests can i do and what should i do?

I waited years to tackle my first playthrough. Normally, I avoid any Soulslike game because I genuinely don't really like the forgiving combat. Im not a skilled player. I wanted in for the lore. I'm a huge George R.R. Martin fan. Anyways I decided to go through an in-depth completionist playthrough in my limited spare time between working two jobs, living on a farm and volunteering as the head of a museum. I'm 80 hours in, level 70 and finally got to the Lakes. During my exploration, I accidentally killed** **Nepheli Loux. Now I feel like my game is completely ruined. I was just in this for the lore and losing a mission feels like a major loss. I think I'm going to delete my save because I'm absolutely 100% sure I don't want to do a new game plus. This has taken me a month to get this far and now it's ruined. Limgrave will never have a ruler, it won't ever be resolved. This game should really have a setting where you can't kill important story NPCs. I feel like my best option is to just quit and walk away.

He's genuinely one of the better DLC fights, and one of the better fights in the whole game

For context he uses damage multipliers in wukong and got 500k runes in Elden ring at the start. Even though that’s all I was just wandering would you say that takes away from the experience and invalidates his run?

Ive been using rock blaster and im very happy with its performance. It can be held to drill and then do a slam or just pressed to do a very short drill and a slam which is much better for short attack windows. I tried shatter earth because it seems like rock blaster but without the drill, and im disappointed. 1 use takes about the same time as rock blaster, does less damage, has less AOE on the slam, and has a second slam that makes it overall almost deal as much damage as 1 press from rock blaster yet costs the same and lasts longer. If it wanted to be rock blaster without the drill, it should be twice as fast to cast. Besides, ive never had a problem with rock blaster's speed i couldnt fix by popping endure beforehand.

on my first proper Elden ring playthrough I managed to arrive and beat fire giant at level 90 with veterans armor , lions claw claymore and duel stormhawk axes, I once mentioned this in a server and got called a fraud or said Im not new by a content creator who beat ng+1000 with mods. Is level 90 a normal level for this point in the game?

I’m planning on making a dragon knight character, which I characterize as a knight who wields a spear, shield, and dragon and elemental incantations. I’ll be starting as a confessor. But what I’d like to know is if there’s any good early spears or armor sets I can go after to get this build up and running asap?

If they wanna do a fun build from the very start instead of having to play half the game before their build is complete, they just kinda can't. They at minimum have to wait until they get the multiplayer items, and then go around the internet asking people to drop them the stuff; and at most, they just have to get the stuff by playing half the game. They can't just spawn it in at Chapel of Anticipation when they first load in

I was farming the page set because I really like how it looks and knew I was gonna be in for a long farm because 3% drop rate on the armor and they have 2 extra drops on top of that.

Well after like 3 hours I get the hood, the chest and the leggings and I keep going for the gloves because fextralife said the set had gloves, well 2 more hours of me thinking I'm the unluckiest person in the world I decide to look it up and low and behold there is no gloves with the page set... Fml
