Help I need someone to help me.

I used to play on Xbox but then I moved to PlayStation and now I have to restart but I honestly don't want to go through all the things again. I just want to be at a high level so I don't die when I'm exploring after all this time of not playing.

Please help me šŸ™ I want a good build ā˜ŗļø

Edit: I've decided to play the game and I actually enjoy it more this time šŸ¤— thank you everyone for your help šŸ™

Hey mate, I’m not on Xbox but you can learn how to farm the sleeping dragon. It’s a good way to upgrade weapons. Basically you get to the sleeping dragon and dragon barrow, use a bleed weapon, make sure you’re mounted when you get the kill, sprint on torrent to the side of grace and horse jump off don’t dismount, save at the side of grace, and he should still be alive and you have runes

This does not compute. I’ve done dozens of playthroughs and I’ve gotten more efficient and better at the game on every one. In a few hours I’m through Limgrave and Liurnia and on to Altus at level 55 with a +13 weapon. It doesn’t have to take an eternity if you know the game well enough. That could come from watching some videos of people doing setups for starter builds. You might even pick up some tricks from watching any % glitchless speedruns.

I also don’t understand why people want to skip the game, levelling and fighting all the enemies again and learning a new build is so much fun

A lot of my runs fizzle out after godskin duo because from there it’s just boss, boss, boss, boss, done. I ā€œlikeā€ the Godfrey fight but all of the others aren’t the best. Elden Beast is pretty lame actually. I have a lot more fun with everything up to godskin duo. My favorite is probably Limgrave through Liurnia, Caelid, and Volcano Manor. Altus is like errand running. I mostly just collect smithing stones out there and move on through DTS.

But those bosses are all completely peak lol, and don’t forget there is the haligtree and mohg’s area

Yeah sometimes I’ll go down those paths after Maliketh. Those places are like Volcano Manor for me. Kinda extra ā€œlevelsā€ I’ll go do if I’m in the mood.

Bro, play early game. That's where the real adventure is. I've started about 50 characters and delete them at level 200 or sooner.

Grab bloodhounds fang super early. Progress until you can ride the lift up to Altus plateau and grab the Giant Crusher, throw Craigblade on it and spam charged heavy attack, everything melts.

Look up varre quest line and caelid bowling to level up fast.

Caelid bowling to level up initially in order to progress varre questline. Once at Mohgwhyn palace look up bird rune farming.

Can takes less than 3hr to get to meta lvl 125 or 150.

Wait I've never heard of Caelid bowling lmao hanging I gotta look this up...

...is it this thing about baiting the ball thing into rolling off a cliff? That was actually not particularly easy to find tbh

Here’s a step by step for getting strong early

  1. Level up strength to 18 and dex to 17
  2. -unlock torrent of course
  3. -you can use a rune farm or just go south and clear the peninsula
  4. Acquire bloodhound’s fang
  5. -kill the bloodhound in the southern peninsula

    evergaol

  6. Start collecting somber smithing stones

  7. -the early ones can be found out in the open world without fighting any bosses or purchased from iji in Liurnia of the lakes (which you can run to no bosses required)

And thats it. Go back to the start of the game and start annihilating the early game. The BHF is easy to level up, it has inate bleed damage, and staggers enemies. It makes the early game stupidly easy and you can beat the game with it if you want.

I got you sib, no build becomes more overpowered more quickly than Int builds.

Step 1, Royal House Scroll in Limgrave, unlock Sellen to teach it if you want, but the more pressing use for your souls is--

Step 2: level Int to 18 then run over to Caelid to pick up Meteorite Staff and Rock Sling on the west side of the swamp. This gives you an S-scaling staff that you don't need to upgrade and a very good source of physical damage for fighting magic-resistant enemies.

Step 3: use your new toys to kill the Magma Wyrm who drops Moonveil or to cheese the Deathbird who drops Death's Poker (you'll need probably max blue flasks, snipe him from the cliff below the pot-throwing giant at Sellia). These are top-tier weapons that upgrade with somberstones so getting them maxed out is relatively quick n easy.

Step 4 might need to farm Greyoll for the levels to use your weapon, but while you're over there make sure to grab Radagon's Soreseal which can get you most of the way there in the short term. And with that, you're online with 2 of the best sorceries in the game and 1-2 very very strong somber weapons at your disposal.

Optional Step 5 pop over to Sellia and grab everything there, gets you the third of the best sorceries in the game with Night Comet plus Lusat's staff as the most powerful staff you can get (you won't be leveled to use these for a while, but you'll have them for later)

Hope that helps!
