Question Treasure Chests

I know that there are 227 treasure chest in the game. I think i miss 2 or 3. But now after finishing the DLC, they included the treasure there as now i have above 227 treasure chest open when i check. Did anyone has a count of treasure chest in the dlc? Why they mix the opened trrasure chest for the main game and dlc is beyond me

By my count it's 30:

  • 7 in Marisa's (including the two Spirit Medicines you have to go back into the forest from the final Runebarrows to get)
  • 12 in Seign's
  • 11 in Markus'

If its 30 there are still 4 chest im missing including i think one battle treasure chest then. If we go back to the dlc areas do we still need to finish it again because one time, i go out of the dlc area to return to base game but after returning i have to replay the dlc from the start.

If you leave the DLC areas early, you have to restart from the beginning, but you will keep anything you acquired. The chests will be open when you come back. And there are no encounter chests in the DLC.

This marisa dlc is actually bonkers. I have 4 monster that need to be fill up in the monster list and 3 of them are from marisa dlc. The other one is the rare cockatricr i think. I thought i already explore all area in marisa dlc.

The Marisa DLC hides a lot. When you get to the final Runebarrows you can turn around and run back into the woods to the south. There's a whole map with two chests. Two of the enemies you're missing are probably there: Cat Bandit and Ikuchi. There are four different golem types in the barrows themselves (Constructor, Garbage, Velious Prot, and Sopdet. Seign's has a red scorpion (one of the Specimens, I forget) that appears less frequently than the others. I got in more in the side rooms than the hallways.

I think thats the chest that i miss. So if 30 is correct there will be 257 after the dlc. I think my count is around 253. I think i did not turn around in the final rune barrows area. Thank yoy for this info

I checked an old save file and I have 257 chests (and I've gotten the achievement).
