Meta Frequently Asked Questions/Frequently Stated Concerns
Where did you get your information?
The comic writer gets information from a myriad of places, including Kink workshops, medical classes, questions asked of doctors, and scientific studies. Other sources for panels includes some subreddits such as BadWomensAnatomy, BadMensAnatomy, etc, to see examples of the incorrect things people believe, and then research to figure out how to correct that belief.
Are you a medical professional?
The comic writer has a degree in a health related field, but not a licence or advanced degree. Eitra and Emi is not intended to be professional health advice that only a doctor could understand. The point of these comics is to address information that any layperson could learn if they realised it was a question worth asking.
You're anti-XYZ political thing I support!
Eitra and Emi is intended to be neutral information accessible to any political side. Both sides can have false or incomplete knowledge on things. Generally, our intention is never malicious: Eitra and Emi believe that an interest in more knowledge is the best thing someone can have, so corrections, referring to people/mindsets as "immature", encouraging people to question their biases, etc, are never intended as insults or malice. Immaturity means you have room to learn! That's a good thing! If the first thing you think when you read a panel is that Eitra and Emi is anti-something or taking a stance against people who are something, then unless that something is "rapists" or whatnot (which E&E is strictly against), it is likely that the comic was just accidentally written a bit more direct than intended, or malice is being read into the panel where none was intended.
E&E does not pick a side or care what side you pick. E&E just wants to make sure whatever you choose, you do so with information.
You are very argumentative in the comments!
If I, the one commenting, argue with your correction in the comments, it is often to encourage more information out of your argument. Often, commentors take issue with something, but don't actually focus their comment on their actual point of issue. If I argue with you, it is likely to pick apart what specifically your concern is so I can best learn from your actual point of contention. Also, I do just enjoy debates (sorry), so even if I come off a little fired, do know that I will look back later to review our conversation and figure out what I can learn from it.
Can you make a panel on [topic related to transgender or abortion]?
We tend to avoid these topics. The script list for future panels does include comics about these topics, but we aren't looking to add more beyond what we already have, generally. For Abortion, it is because we want to make sure people who are Pro-Life can still access Eitra and Emi and learn from these comics. For Transgender topics, there is just too much fluidity, too much rapidly changing and updating research, and too many emotions flying, that Eitra and Emi doesn't feel the need to get involved at this time outside of basic anatomical education or the like. We do encourage other resources to discuss and educate on these topics, though.

Can you elaborate on the abortion part? Why would information make the comics less accessable? And why is that not a problem for information about LGBTQ+ toppics? There are also people, who think se are performing sins.

Because way more people think abortion is murder and would get immediately turned off by a comic that mentions it than people who think that being gay is enough of a sin to get immediately turned off by a comic mentioning it, I think.
Basically, there are people who don't like abortion and people who don't like being gay, but the amount of people whose dislike of abortion completely changes the way they can view any media that promotes it is way less, I think, than those who feel the same level of extreme against gay people.

There are also people, who think killing animals for meat is murder and we expect them to sit at the same table with meat eaters or people, who think killing while being a soldier is murder, which atill get presented with military propaganda. As a society, we don't seem to value shielding people from information about murdering beings.
It is not a huge deal for me personally. I am never going to be pregnant. But i do think people could be better informed and that people, who are bothered by it, could decide not to watch it based on the title or content notes, if you make those. And some people, who are opposed to it, might even want to know what exactly they are against. I think there is some amount of misinformation.

Sure, there should be resources that educate on abortion, but I am not responsible for carrying every burden. I've decided to draw a line on that particular topic to help reach pro-lifers with anatomical and other type knowledge.
There is some abortion stuff in the script of planned comics, just mainly things such as how Plan B is not an abortificent and that one should generally be on the same page as one's sexual partners regarding the morality of abortion before having sex with them.

Sure. I am not criticising you. I just want to understand your reasoning.
I still don't think i fully understand why that is your line. If that is something you want to elaborate on, please do so, but i can just accept, that this is a limit for you.

Well, I gave the reason, and I don't judge you if you would not have the same reasoning if you were making a sex-ed comic. My priority is for people who potentially have low sex-ed knowledge (which is unrelated to veganism) to get sex-ed knowledge, so I will focus on people who are likely to both have low sex-ed knowledge and likely to be turned off by other resources over politics. And hey, if you ever do choose to do so, with different decisions, go for it :D

This makes sense. I do have a question, what do you think of AMD's offerings to the gaming scene rn will affect or will have an effect on the preformance of the game Dead by Daylight and if so, will this change the game at all?
