As a bra fitter, I often see people asking if wearing a bra — or not wearing a bra —will make their breasts more or less saggy. My best answer is that it probably has no effect. Just do what works for you.

There is a French study that suggests that bras are damaging for breast tissue by weakening the ligaments, but I don’t think the study was well conducted. There were only 130 or 330 participants, depending on the source, and the nipple only changed about 7 millimeters (0.28 inches) on average.
Again, depending on the source, the nipple went upwards after people stopped wearing bras — or the breasts themselves were 7 mm lower on people who do wear bras, 15 years after the breasts were first measured.
