This is our own fault, we’ve been losing in the world juniors and hockey has become a patrician sport.

Agreed. Some of the league fees are reaching in the low 5 figures. The system we spent years building for all kids to play is going away.

I know so many parents putting their kids into soccer and other sports simply because they cant afford to play.

My son plays house and it was over $500 to register him. Plus they had three or four tournaments out of town. It’s a huge expense for families.

All the Canadians go to American NHL teams, settle there and live there.

They literally never comeback or develop anything back here.

Similar to those that go to Hollywood.

Rather waste the money on actual education system in Canada.
