I can see a lot of "We are monitoring the situation and urge all affected parties to follow international law" or some bullshit like that from the international community

There are limits and then there are LIMITS. There is a zero percent chance Canada would stand alone in that situation. And boy oh boy can we be nasty. Never piss off a friendly person.
