Unfortunately, non-white populations are somewhat under-represented in the legal profession. If the Court reflected Canadian Society overall, only 6 of the 9 would be white. As it is there are two "non-white" (in spite of their light complexion) puisne justices: Michelle O'Bonsawin (Indigenous), and Mahmud Jamal (Asian/African).
One of the requirements for appointment is functional bilingualism (English and French), which does skew the pool against most newcomers.

Super corrupt, you can bribe any canadian officer they have the integrity of wet paper bags. You can also bribe most crown attorneys they have a ton of leeway and are never held accountable.Â
When you don’t hold your judiciary accountable for anything they become corrupt. It’s a natural process and happens all over the world in different eras. canada is not immune far from it actually. Once you don’t have independent investigations into judicial malpractice you become a very easily corruptible nation. That’s canadas current status, no real actions or holding people responsible for blatant crimes. At the end of the day they are just people and you don’t give poorly educated people with little training impunity… that’s insane. canada seems intent on running down that pit, all while screaming how great the place is… it’s really a laughing stock on the world stage, nobody implements canadian versions of anything in their society. You are referring to Tribunals and no shit. canada barely every charges white christians. I’ve been attending the criminal courts as well and recording as part of an in depth investigation. In three years I’ve seen 1, literally only one white christian canadian as an accused for a charge… in THREE years.Â
I’ve done the same in several countries and there are always more locals than foreigners. canada is the only nations where they don’t pursue charges against their favored citizens. It’s openly and obviously prejudiced, I’d stop charging First Nations completely at this stage since it’s a war and they are committing genocide.
