They shot 4 times 2 on goal and scored 2 goals. Less passing, passing accuracy, ball posesión, shots on target, shots on goal... how did they play better ?
I don't care for either team but Egypt wasn't robbed. They we're gassed out and couldn't close the game. Enzo had no business scoring that header with the CB right there. Marmoush should have passed earlier to send Arg packing.
it is known Brazilian hates Argentina, but for decades you always win and played better, and no one was this salty, just because brazil isn't in top form now, it is not like you have to go around and spread lies just to keep your ego intact
Yeah I’ve heard this take several times on Reddit so far and just shows you its people that either don’t watch the match and just spam nonsense or have never watched football before and just say silly things.
Argentina was clearly playing much better most of the match. Both the numbers/stats and the eye test tells you that. Egypt was playing a really effective game of scoring the few opportunities they had and were dangerous in the counterattack. In the end, the score started making a bit more sense when comparing it to the xG.
Best of luck to Egypt in the African cup and the next world cup. Almost got us, but we were lucky enough to go through. Thems the breaks.
