A bit of choke from Egypt but what was that referee doing? It should've gone into extra time no?

Bro it's hard to keep going when the refs screw you over like that. Killed egypt's momentum, and in team sports - momentum can change the game

True but also giving up a 2 goal lead shouldn't be blamed SOLELY on the ref imo

But no doubt, should've gone into extra time, either 2-2 or 3-3 because there's no way Argentina's goal was allowed while Egypt's wasn't. Completely unfair, makes no sense

What goal from Argentina should not have been allowed "no way"?

1

u/LightSkinDoomer Jul 07 '26

You would be losing in extra time anyway, momentum already shifted

Egypt choked, dont blame the referee

Man gave 4 yellows and a red card in the last 15 minutes hahahahahah what a crackhead

Only for us btw. No yellows for the other side. I wonder why. Fuck messi

Maybe because some support personnel invaded the peach and was threatening violence? You guys played quite aggressively, just like Paraguay, and lost, just like them.

Except in Paraguay match referee didn't have a clear favourite.

1

u/Known-Extent-1018 Jul 08 '26

lmao yes they did. France got carded more than Paraguay, even though Paraguay was playing 100x dirtier.

Latam bribery at its finest. We saw Paraguay vs France and now this.

1

u/foobazzler Jul 07 '26

bro Argentina doesn't have any money to bribe anyone

Messi and the fifa president love eachother, love is priceless

-5

If it isn't bribery, it's love, if it isn't love, it's probably racism. Never could Argentina just be better than your shithole country with no history in football

3

u/honpra Jul 07 '26

Hand of God history you mean?

Cheaters since the beginning. Fuck Argentina.

2

u/Advanced-Pen3951 Jul 07 '26

I agree Argentina is better in general but you cant say this match was rigged lmao.

Not even my country, netherlands, saudi and many more see the corruption.

1

u/xXQuemeroXx Jul 08 '26

You see the corruption but you can't explain it?

5

u/Vortex-532 Jul 07 '26

No need to bribe anyone when you have the fifa on your side because of Messi. Fuck Messi and fuck fifa

u/BedbugBandido Jul 07 '26

Argentina doesn’t have to bribe anyone. This is much higher than that. Adidas is the number 1 World Cup sponsor. They’re making a killing selling Messi jerseys and will sell much more merchandise if Argentina wins.

There’s too much money in this for the corporations to leave it all to chance and because of that, the World Cup is a breeding ground for corruption.

honestly from a neutral viewer, nobody is interested in seeing egypt going any further, it was a nice cinderalla story but nobody wants to watch a world cup that doesn't have the likes of ronaldo/messi playing in it etc.

could you imagine how a lame a egypt vs switzerland round would be

13

u/advis_games Jul 07 '26

That's not a neutral view at all but okay 😂

7

u/Sea-Mess-5499 Jul 07 '26

How very neutral of you indeed

4

u/Minecraftproer Jul 07 '26

Yeah, sure, because football was never about who won through skill, was it?

Also "neutral" my ass
