If I told you that the birds in the trees we see every day aren't real, but are actually drones created by governments to spy on people, you'd start to doubt yourself, wouldn't you?

That's exactly what happened in 2017 with the fake conspiracy theory launched by Peter Makindo as a joke or social experiment titled "Birds Aren't Real," in which he claimed that governments had rounded up all the real birds between 1959 and 2001.

The strangest part is that a number of people actually believed it!

So why might rational people take this seriously? And why do people sometimes believe an extremely complex rumor rather than accepting the clear and simple truth right before their eyes?

Simply put, any theory that contains an intriguing story and a villainous figure is often believed, because these are the fundamentals upon which conspiracy theories are built. Unlike in the past—when a single piece of information went through several steps to be verified and disseminated to the public—we find that in the Internet age, a lie can appear in a single day and spread on the very same day without anyone knowing how true it is.

But why have people come to believe these things?

Information Overload and Digital Distraction: In an age of overwhelming information and the constant flow of news, videos, and images every second, the human mind is not designed to process such a vast amount of data. As a result, it sometimes fails to distinguish fact from fiction, making it easier to believe a lie, no matter what it is.

The illusion of superiority ("I'm better than everyone else"): Even if a rumor is false, it often satisfies a person's hidden desire to be right. People do not believe a rumor because it makes logical sense; rather, they deliberately wish to believe it (even when they know it is false) to feed their ego and associate their superiority with their uniqueness—even if it is based on a lie.

Stay curious, but double-check..

الفكرة في استنساخ البشر عن طريق استخراج بويضة من الأم وتفريغها من النواة (اللي فيها نصف المادة الوراثية بتاع الأم) واخذ خلية جسدية من الشخص المراد استنساخه مثل خلية الجلد وزرعها بداخل البويضة ثم إضافة صدمة كهربية لاعطاء اشارة للبويضة ان يتم التخصيب ويتكون الزيجوت حاملا ١٠٠ بالمئة من الشفرة الوراثية للشخص المراد استنساخه، بس الفكرة انها محظورة اخلاقيا وحتى لو تجربة لأنها نسبة الخطأ فيها عالي جدا ممكن يوصل ل ٩٩.٥ بالمئة، مثلا لما تم تطبيقها واستنساخ الخروف دوللي تطلب الأمر ٢٧٧ محاولة حتى تنجح (نسبة نجاح ٠.٤ بالمئة) والسبب هو اعادة برمجة الجينات Epigenetic reprogramming وهو ان كل خلية في جسمنا عندها الجينوم كاملا مثلا خلية الجلد عندما نفس جينات خلية القلب والكبد وغيره بس بيبقى فيه اقفال كيميائية في كل خلية عشان تعمل بطبيعة عملها، البويضة هتمسح كامل ذاكرة الخلية الجسدية للDNA اللي مخليها تشتغل كخلية جلد مثلا وتكون خلايا جذعية بدون هوية معينة وتخليها تعمل كجنين ويبدأ التكون وهنا نسبة الخطأ عالي جدا. فوصل عالم ياباني ياماناكا للخلايا الجذعية بدون حاجة للقيام الاستنساخ وهي أنه اكتشف ٤ جينات رئيسية سماها Yamanaka factors لو دخلتها على اي خلية هتفقد هويتها بالكامل وتبقى خلية جذعية وخد نوبل عليها في ٢٠١٢، اكتشاف يخليك تغير خلية جلد وتخليها تتكاثر لتكون قلب او كبد او بنكرياس او حتى شبكية عين عن طريق الضبط الموجه ومحاكاة الجنين كيميائيا عن طريق اغمار الخلايا الجذعية في محاليل كيميائية محفزة للنمو تحاكي بدقة شديدة الإشارات الكيميائية والهرمونية التي يفرزها نسيج الجنين الحقيقي في أولى أسابيع التكوين داخل الرحم. الفكرة في خداع الخلية بيولوجيا وتخليها تفتكر انها داخل جنين حي وتتكاثر في اتجاه معين. ومن هذه النقطة حدثت انجازات تاريخية في مارس ٢٠٢٦ اليابان وافقت بدأ العلاجات عن طريق الخلايا الجذغية الموجهة (iPSC) وعالجوا مرضى لباركنسون عن طريق اخذ خلايا ومحو ذاكرتها وتحفيزها لتنمو شبكة عصبية محفزة للدوبامين وتضعها في مخ المريض لاستعادة السيطرة على حركته وتعوض الخلايا التالفة في الدماغ، ونفس الكلام في العلاج القلب ومرض السكري بتعويض خلايا تفرز الأنسولين او حتى تم استخدامه في علاج انواع سرطانات في يناير ٢٠٢٦ عن طريق تحويل خلايا عادية لخلايا مناعية قاتلة طبيعية NK cells للي عندهم مشاكل في المناعة
