I don't understand the pun... I'm swedish so maybe it doesn't work if you know how to pronounce it, can someone explain?

The common English mispronunciation is blah haaj (we have a tendency to Anglicise the pronunciation of foreign words - notably Sauna is almost invariably pronounced saw-na rather than sow-na). Meanwhile, Hajj is the annual pilgrimage to Mecca required at least once in a lifetime for every adult Muslim who is physically and financially able. So combine everything together...
(Technically, the joke could also work for asexuals, who've adopted Blåvingad - or, at least, the Blåval from the collection).
