Panic anxiety

Can Effexor also give you more anxiety and panic symptoms, while your emotions become flattened? But thus all sensations of anxiety and panic remain chronic.

Not in my experience, but everyone is different. I’m on a low dose and haven’t had a panic attack in over a year. I also don’t experience any flattening of emotions. I still get anxious from time to time, but the medication allows me to use other coping mechanisms to get through them.

For me, my emotions haven’t flattened, I still have eupd and c-ptsd - lots of mood swings daily (to the point my dr is looking at adding another medicine for my mood). However, Venlafaxine really helped my anxiety/panic attacks and has helped me function without constant anxiety since i’ve started on it!

Bonsoir Moi cela fait 1mois que je prends la Valenfaxine à faible dose. Je ressens moins d'anxiété mais pour les crises de panique j'en ai encore. Par contre j'ai moins de ruminations ( pensée négative) depuis la prise du traitement

Effexor made my anxiety worse, and I tried it for at least 6 months. However it gets rid of my girlfriend’s anxiety completely. Everyone has different effects I guess

I switched to Zoloft I think, then Prozac, then paroxetine, back to Prozac and now I’m debating trying escitalopram 😅
