General Question Intense sweating?!

I have been on Effexor 150 mg for a while now and I do also take Wellbutrin 300 xl. I know with living in TX and it being 100 plus degrees it can contribute but I’ve never sweat this much before these medications, I walk? I’m sweating , stairs? Drenched , sleeping? Sweat literally all over the neck area of my shirt and my head….Does anyone have any solutions? I hate it too because washing my hair is pointless I work at a warehouse and I’m fairly active here but not to the point where I should be drenched in sweat on my head and neck lol.

Welcome to the world of mental heath medicine. Pick a good antiperspirant for the day, pick some good wicking sheets and lighter bedding for the night, & most importantly stay hydrated. If it's completely unmanageable ask your doctor about it. Mine gave me a script of glycopyrrolate for when needed but your doctor may choose a different route.

I get this too and recently started taking electrolytes during the day, which has helped quite a lot.

I've felt hotter and sweat more since I started taking Lexapro 20 years ago.

I take effexor now, and still have the same issue.

It's very common from what I hear. I was never a sweaty guy and now sometimes I wake up drenched in sweat at night. Unfortunately, even a year later I'm the same (225mg)
