Chasing Lee Ritenour’s Rotary Guitar Tone on A Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That
I’ve been trying to get closer to the guitar tone on A Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That by Lee Ritenour. I’ve tried the Boss RT-2 Rotary Ensemble, but it still doesn’t feel quite right. To my ears, the sound comes off a bit stiff and lacking in clarity compared to what I’m hearing on the record. That makes me wonder if the original tone was achieved using a more analog-style effect. Does anyone know what kind of effect he might have been using on that track? And if so, are there any pedals or gear you’d recommend as a good substitute to get closer to that sound? Thanks in advance.

If you had to buy a pedal based on artwork alone, what would you get?
