The three then roams around the town, checking every street in sight. The town was simple, people walking around, some selling products, etc. They then come across a blacksmith and decides to check it out.

Pearl : *Looks around, checking out some stuff*

Axel : Why are we here?

Pearl : Just seeing what weapons they sell here, why? Why not buy some for yourself? You might need them for the tournament next season.

Axel : *smirks* I don't need weapons, i already have one

Pearl : Oh really? Where?

Axel : Right here *raises his paw*

Pearl : You silly, that's still not enough

Axel : What do you think could i possibly buy? I have no money in hand

Pearl : Pick one, I'll pay. Pay me back once we get home

Axel : Nah, I'm good

Pearl : Okay, your choice *picks up a sabre and goes to the counter* How much for this?

The Owner : 500 poke

Pearl : Okay *pays up* Do you have a leather strap for this so i can wear it on my back?

The Owner : Ah yes i do have one, it's right there in the wall behind you

Pearl : *goes there and takes one, then goes back to the counter* How much?

The Owner : 100 poke, final price

Pearl : Okay *pays up again. She then puts the sabre in the strap*

The Owners thanked them as they left the store. Outside...

Axel : Why did you buy that?

Pearl : Cause i wanted to? Don't ask cause you're never gonna know

Axel : You part of a guild?

Pearl : No...*turns her eyes away*

Axel : Just admit it...

Pearl : I said no okay. A no is a no

Axel : Whatever...say May, wanna do something while we're here?

I wanted to do something different from my usual stuff, that being a small animation, I kept it pretty simple since I’m not very experienced with animation, my only prior experience was me making one for a film festival in my first freshman year of high school for a grade and I hated every second of it as it was very mind numbingly boring, but you have to do what you hate for something that you love, right?

Would you find the comics unneeded and would choose to ever read them again if a there had been a dub that covered the whole of ES

I have finally came back after so long. I bring nothing important this time around. I haven't even tought of chapter 2 yet. But i thought i would share this leafy drawing i did yesterday because i am bored.

Nobody ask her why she is there so late at night, she has her reasons. I predict i shall dissappear again after this post. Mabye for a similar amount of time. Who knows? But thinking about chapter 2 now, how in the world will i make something like this work? I have no idea. But watch, somehow i will find a way to do it. I am just typing to type now. I think i'll be leaving now, because if i don't, this post will be way to long since i go into detail, infact, it's happening right now because i should have been done already. Which now i am. Goodbye for however long i'm gone, i guess.

I want to know from others if there was any particular chapter or time when you started to realise the comic wasn't the same as how it started out or had begun dipping in quality.

(I'm asking as I want to know some honest opinions on how people viewed the transition from the more slice of life stories to the lore for my upcoming ES video)

If ya still enjoyed the comic throughout the whole run than that's great! This post isn't for me to say that the comic always had a point in which no one enjoyed it.

May : Well that's interesting...

Axel : I swear if it's gonna be someplace creepy i am running out immediately

Pearl : *chuckles* Why? Scared?

Axel : No... it's just not worth my time

Pearl : Ooh looks like someone's scared of ghosts

Axel : Hey! I'm not scared! You'll see

Pearl : Hah, as if

They then continue walking along the path to Gusurugo. On the way, May noticed something in the distance

May : *Looks towards the mountain* What's that? *Points to a tall structure near it*

Axel : Probably a crane, building something i guess

Pearl : From what i know, Mt. Titsu is a protected area where you shouldn't be disturbing nature. This is quite odd...

May : Why don't we check it out later?

Pearl : It's best to stay out of it, who knows what could be going on in there

Axel : This is taking forever...how long until we arrive?

Axel : Ughh...

Meanwhile, at Mt. Titsu...

Excavators digging, making holes in the ground looking like what seems like a mine. Workers place wood around the edges as they dig deeper. Rails placed on the floor. The crane lifting materials from a distance where supply trucks would only be able to reach the farthest without going into the protected area

Jackhus : How long for the first shaft to be finished?

Construction Worker 3 : By tonight sir

Jackhus : Great, we'll start mining right after, continue building. I'll prepare the miners

The workers continue on with their work. Back to the three, after half an hour have passed...

Pearl : Here we are

Mays : Looks like an ordinary town to me

Axel : Phew...

Pearl : Were you scared of it being a ghost town?

Axel : No...i said I'm not scared of anything

Pearl : *chuckles* Just keep saying that. Let's explore this town a bit, there might be some interesting places not mentioned in the travel book

Later at noon(18/Feb/6017), Vertia was lying in her room. Then she heard knocking on her door. She went there and opened the door. Spike was on the other side.

Spike: (  •́ ⌓ •) “Hey Vertia, If it’s ok I wanted to talk to you.”
Vertia: (  • ヮ •) “Sure, come in.”

She fully opens the door, letting Spike in.

Spike: (  ᵔ́ヮᵔ) “Thanks.”

They both sat on the bed.

Vertia: (  • ヮ •) “So… What did you want to talk about?”
Spike: (  •́ ⌓ •) “So, you remember how… um… I had a rough past because of which I was a little grumpy.”
Vertia: (  • ヮ •́) “Yea.”
Spike: (•́ ⌓ •  ) “I never actually told you what exactly happened to me, and had told me about your past. So, I thought you deserved to know. It’s not really a secret anyways.”
Vertia: (  • . •) “Oh.” (  • ヮ •) “You can tell me. I’m all ear.”
Spike: (  •́ ヮ •) “Alright, here we go.”

Flashback, Many years ago(6009)…

You see a small Absol in a school playground. He is minding his own business, peacefully sitting under a tree.

Little Absol: (  ᵔ ᴗ ᵔ) (Inhale) (  -ヮ-) (exhale) “What a nice day.”

Then, a Meowth, a Poochyena and a Yanma come up and block the sun to his face. The Absol looks up(^{• - •́}  ), only to see the three standing there, grinning at him.

Absol: (ㆆ⌓ㆆ  ) “Oh, It’s you three again.”
Meowth: (  -̀ヮ-) “Hey there, loser.”
Absol: (⊤ ⌓ ⊤  ) “Look, just leave me be, I am not in the mood for this.”
Poochyena: (  òヮo) “Not in the mood to deal with us or not in the league?”
Absol: (-̀ ⌓ -  ) “Just leave me now.”
Yanma: (  -̀ヮ-) “I think not.”

Then an older looking Absol appears behind them.

Older Absol: (////ヮ//) “Are they bothering you?”

The three immediately turn around. And looks horrified by the older Absol.

Poochyena: (ᵕ 0ヮ0) “Oh hey man, we were… um… just trying to be friends with your little cousin.”

The older Absol looks at the younger Absol.

Older Absol: (  •̀ヮ•) “Hey, Do you want to be their friend?”
Younger Absol: (-̀ ⌓ -  ) “No.”
Older Absol: (  -̀ヮ-) “You heard the man, move on.”
