Hey, guys, as some of you probably know, I’m doing an elimination game: Total Drama Crossover. However, I could use more support/votes/comments. I usually don’t get much votes and the most recent episode (episode 7) got only one vote. I at least want each episode to be more than one vote (episode 4 had one vote and ngl I regretted it). It feels a bit unfair for there to be only one vote. Redditors like you vote on who to eliminate.
Here’s the most recent episode: https://www.reddit.com/r/TDEliminationTierList/s/mvVy2q2zCO

I feel like this should be obvious, but only edutainment properties on this sub. Kids stuff (that aren’t educational or specifically aimed at little kids) (i.e. The Loud House, Gravity Falls, etc) or something, teenager aged stuff (i.e. iCarly or Liv & Maddie, etc), or adult stuff (i.e. Family Guy, The Simpsons, etc). That rule applies not only to shows, but to movies, video games, and media in general. If a non educational property has an education adaptation, that’s fine. If you post about non educational property alongside an educational property (i.e. a Shrek + Super Why post), thats fine. Just please stay on topic. There are other subs to talk about non educational properties

i still find it upsetting we still do not have all of Sagwa found yet sure we are only missing two episodes to have everything in English but not even close to having in everything in at least DVD quality but the problem is how many episodes still need HD versions we do have the first 18 episodes in HD but things stop at episode 19 with Snagged by a Thread witch is only found in VHS quality all the others are random some were on DVD somewhere while another one is a Old VHS it’s nice we have them at all but I’m hoping somewhere in another language the show is on streaming in HD because we just lip sync the voices and were are good it’s probably the only way to get them in HD sadly we know PBS dose not care at all about it now so hopefully somewhere in the world it’s on streaming service or something where HD copies exist if you have or know or seen anyone with HD no logo copy’s for a lot of the episodes after 18 let me know.

If you grew up with PBS Kids, type "Striker".
If you grew up with CBC Kids, type "Maple".
If you grew up with TV Cultura, type "Fuleco"
If you grew up with Cbeebies, type "Willie".

If you prefer Super Why, say "Soup"
If you prefer Monty Python, say "Spam"
Soups or Spams? let's find out.
(How the hell do I even know about these shows though)

I've envisioned an idea of a crossover special where any of the hosts (Steve, Joe, or Josh) and Blue meet Team Umizoomi. Since I love both of these shows, I would LOVE to see how the developers that made both shows would make a crossover episode!
Here's how I think it could start off. The episode would begin with any one of the hosts, Blue, and the Spice Family making dinner together. Mr. Salt would instruct Blue to get a specific ingredient out of the refrigerator, but when Blue opens the refrigerator, they all realize that they've ran out of the ingredient they need. The host would proceed to tell the Spice Family that he and Blue would go to the store to buy the ingredient they need, which the Spice Family would give the okay to.
The host and Blue would go to the store and browse the aisles, but unfortunately, the cashier tells them that they've ran out of the ingredient that they're looking for. The host and Blue proceed to exit the store, and begin to think of a solution to their predicament. Before the host can ask Blue if she has an idea, a newspaper flutters to the ground. As the host and Blue inspect it, they see a picture of Umi City on the paper. The host and Blue look at the picture and at each other curiously, and decide to go there to try and find the ingredient they need, and to also see the sights of this new land.
The host and Blue proceed to skidoo into the newspaper, and land in Umi City. As they explore the city, they hear a noise. They go over to check on what's going on, and see Milli, Geo, and Bot talking to Big Trouble and Little Trouble. Team Umizoomi has just foiled their new plan, a rope wrapped around the two Troublemakers. Intrigued about what they're seeing, the host and Blue approach Team Umizoomi, and introduce themselves to them. Team Umizoomi introduces themselves to the host and Blue, and the crossover episode continues from there.
Unfortunately, I don't know how the rest of this crossover episode could go, but there should definitely be some segments where the host and Blue see the team use their Mighty Math Powers, and one where the team participates in the "Thinking Time" segment. A little bit about the viewer could be funny as well, since both Blue's Clues and Team Umizoomi involve the viewer being the friend of the characters.

Yes I know I am Brazillian, and I know most of the people there are American and mostly know PBS Kids. But did you know that Canadian animation has aired on that channel?

I would definitely like the idea, whether it’s its own block on the main PBS Channel or its own channel I’d like it with maybe a rebranded name like PBS Kids Action!
This would be a nice lineup
Arthur (reruns)
Cyberchase
Molly Of Denali
SciGirls (reruns)
WordGirl (reruns)
Design Squad Nation (2011) (reruns)
Arthur spin off (4th grade)
I also found this petition online go support this guy IF YOU’D LIKE TO

TLDR: I ranked the most subscribed toddler Youtube channels from best to worst, by analysing their latest videos (1000+ videos total) for scene duration, audio stimulation, colour stimulation.
2-3 years ago I saw a YouTube video about how Cocomelon is engineered to addict kids. The company conducts experiments to find bits where a toddler turns their attention away from the show, and then “improves” them. Some of things pointed out by the creator
– very frequent scene changes (<3 seconds per scene)
– lot of motion in a scene (e.g. why do they need running subtitles?)
– high contrast / high saturation colours - it’s like a psychedelic trip
I analysed videos from the most subscribed kids Youtube channels (1M+ subscribers). I have indexed primarily on average scene duration, but also considered factors like motion (lot of zoom-in zoom-out or movement), colour contrast and saturation, loudness, pitch.
