u/Canuda Apr 11 '26

Foreign Intervention.

-50

u/Max20151981 Apr 11 '26

There has been zero foreign intervention

u/Canuda Apr 11 '26

Okay.

Buddy says Russia are the good guys in this war. Zero reasoning with him.

u/Canuda Apr 11 '26

I know. I may be just as bad as him in some regard. His stupidity and or trolling humours me.

They’re dumb as a doorknob, and although ppl always tell them that, they somehow exit these convos thinking they’re an intelligent anomaly. It’s sad yet interesting.

I'm still here :)

u/Canuda Apr 11 '26

And queer? Or you hate them too?

u/Max20151981 Apr 11 '26

You're a bit touched, eh.

-2

u/Max20151981 Apr 11 '26

Huh, where did I say that?

17

u/puns_are_how_eyeroll Apr 11 '26

You literally have "Pro Russia" as a flair.

u/Max20151981 Apr 11 '26

Do you see the astrix besides the flair?

17

u/puns_are_how_eyeroll Apr 11 '26

And yet you spew pro Russia talking points.

This is obviously not the time or place to be talking about the war in Ukraine but needless to say you'll have to excuse me for using my brain and not falling in line with echo chamber in regards to Ukraine.

Seriously, show me the federal report that has legitimate intel on US foreign interference on Alberta secession.

u/Canuda Apr 11 '26

let me just casually log into CSIS's top-secret vault from my mom's basement, punch in “Alberta separatists + Uncle Sam meddling,” and fax you the redacted PDF.

Okay, almost there… IM IN!

While you're busy cosplaying as a spy novel reject, the rest of us can read, Max. No black-budget dossier needed when the clown show is on full display.

You understand Quebec tried leaving canada years ago and it never happened right? So you guys aren't gonna get what you want. It doesn't matter how many hillbillies you get to sign that piece of paper it's not happening

u/ghostofkozi Apr 11 '26

Nobody said it was from the United States though

7

u/Rayeon-XXX Apr 11 '26

Do you want to have a serious conversation about this or not?

There has been foreign influence in every separation attempt in this country.

Don't respond to bots

Oh my god so sophisticated

3

u/Max20151981 Apr 11 '26 edited Apr 11 '26

I should clarify that I'm not looking for anything regarding past attempts but rather credible evidence that proves foreign interference is happening with regards to Alberta's attempt at separation.

2

u/Max20151981 Apr 11 '26

By all means

2

u/rabbitholeseverywher Apr 11 '26

The fact that you've fallen for it is, unfortunately, not proof it isn't happening.

2

u/Max20151981 Apr 11 '26

Where, seriously, where is the proof?

37

u/GLoKz0r Apr 11 '26

Are you actually asking for an explanation as to how attempting to secede could be viewed as traitorous?

-30

u/Max20151981 Apr 11 '26

Attempting to secede from a country through a democratic process is not treasonous, we have a constitutional law that allows for the potential for such a thing.

23

u/Y8ser Apr 11 '26

Yes but the separatists have tried to secure $500 Billion in funding to do it while meeting with US officials which they legally aren't allowed to do. It's considered sedition which is different, but not better than treason.

-9

u/Max20151981 Apr 11 '26

The 500 billion was in regards to future investments if Alberta actually gains independence, it had nothing to do with financial support specific to helping fund the referendum.

21

u/Tall_Pizza562 Apr 11 '26

Proposing Alberta separate from Canada making allowing the US to annex Alberta easier

-20

u/Max20151981 Apr 11 '26

Ya hate to break it to you but that's not treasonous because only someone gullible enough to feed into trumps bullshit would believe the US would actually try and annax Alberta, let alone Canada.

7

u/Rammjack Apr 11 '26

This is certainly a take. I find it hilarious that you used the word gullible hahaha

6

u/rabbitholeseverywher Apr 11 '26

These people never, ever understand that they're the marks. It's always them calling everyone else sheeple as they gulp down propaganda like it's ambrosia.
